HANG DOWN YOUR HEAD TOM DOOLEY....

     Calling all delegates. Calling all intelligent people. Calling all those who wish for a better CV, a return to fiscal sanity, a return to transparency and honesty. Calling all those who understand the need for process and procedure, for business management of a 7 million dollar plus business. Calling all those who wish to step forward and take a place in the new world we will engender here, one of fairness, one where ALL are welcome to volunteer, where recycled people will not be welcomed to continue their recycling, where there will be an operational principle of "hakarat hatov" - the recognition that people are deserving of being recognized for the good they wish to do for the Village and in a most proper manner.
     My friends, the Poohbah and party are reeling. They do not know what has hit them. Hang down your head we say, for soon enough your system of administration, one that began with Bob Marshall as President and then continued, resumed, when David Israel and Ed Black stepped in and Ed Black was the treasurer who moved the money, folks, (Remember that), soon enough your corrupt political machine will go the way of Tom Dooley, of Tammany Hall, of Nash, and of every other political entity which ignored the needs of the constituents and prioritized their own above all.
     Enough with the cramming of contracts that are awful down our throats. Enough with administration by last minute, by intimidation, by hiding things, by wasteful spending of our money, of ignoring the needs of the now for the ridiculous pipedreams of pet projects, for refusing to realize that sometimes it is better to wait rather than rush in.
     Enough of the delegate assesmblies where there is no rule and no order for the chair refuses to act as such and only threatens and shouts from his chair up there and encourages thoughts of armed guards, of sergeants at arms to intimidate and remove, and has even wasted our money on hiring armed deputies to stand there and look threatening. More wastage of our funds. And when they cannot stand the pressure of losing anymore, why what do they do? They just call out for a festive meal or send Bob Marshall out on a snack run to BJ's - more cake, more candy, more exotic drinks, more wasting of our money for people who do not deserve it. It would be one thing if they worked hard for us and our best interests but for the most part THEY DO NOT, so no rewards for bad work.
     If you want all this to be a part of the past, then step up, run for Executive Board, for any office so that we can turn this situation around. Come run before they shut it all down with their planned corrupt by laws, with their plans for permanent power, for getting rid of you, the delegates.
 They hold the delegates in contempt, disrespect them at any and every given moment, rant on the Poohbah's blog how they need to get rid of them - and yet, and yet, there are still those who blindly follow his every instruction.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! LET SANITY RULE.
