WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

     Once again, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result. In that case, we have an insane person at the head of UCO. We already know that he is paranoid, obsessed with fantasies and phantasmagorical fears, but just look at the situation now. Once again he has had his kissups on the Exec. Bd. pass his proposed budget. Once again he has used a budget which contains little or no clear detail nor no clear explanation as to where and how money has come and gone through the conduits of the budget. Once again he has no explanation as to how we are going to fund these enormous reserves that will be necessary to repave. Once again there is no explanation as to why he has jumped on the broadband bandwagon and has played down his own DSL that he so desperately tried to foist upon us with his WI Fi proposal. Once again there is no explanation as to where the funds for this, yet another multi million dollar project, would come from and how and where they would go.

     Once again we have the same players playing the same roles in their futile attempt to overwhelm the delegates. Once again he and his fellow conspirator, Black, are using the threat of "if you don't approve this you will be paying more." Really? We will be paying more anyway unless the Poohbah steps down, resigns or is held at bay until he can be thrown out of office in a year. Once again there are no explanations as to how and why Eva is allowed to run wild and rampant with our funds. Granted, the resident pool at the clubhouse looks beautiful BUT - for the amount of people who use it, there was a less costly way. And now that she has used the money set aside for a new lift or elevator at Hastings, where will that money now come from? And how and why does she think that it was a good idea to "surprise" us with a $3,000 painting of koi ponds inside the Clubhouse?!!!!
     Where are the controls? Where are the brakes? Where are the details of the funds that we ingather and expend? Where, in fact, is our money? Where? It is NOT in BB&T for otherwise it is not insured. Remember, there are FDIC rules as to limits of insured accounts. Why did they do away with Dorothy's carefully set out plans to safeguard our money, our reserves, as she worked for over a year with the banks to set the system up? How dare they change the accounting system without informing and asking for approval of the delegates?
     What is wrong with this picture is that NOTHING is right. Vote the budget down. We can move on with the old budget in place and force them to finally come up with a budget that makes sense, that is self explanatory, that does not have Black's dirty little fingers all over it, a budget that can face up to tough questions and not get answers to these questions with a stock, "Come to my office." And how the hell can they keep coming up with these "new" budgets if the original and the successors were supposedly proper. Something stinks here, reeks, in fact.
     Listen to the questions that are posed in the DA. Listen as they try to explain why they are so afraid of a forensic audit and no, our supposed yearly audit does not come up to the standards and the depths of a forensic audit. What are they hiding? WHAT ARE THEY HIDING? And calling me names will not shut me up, Petey Boy. Out of the closet again, are you? Please, do us all a favor and climb back in and take Lanny with you. Just because an issue has gone on for some time does not make it right to wish it away. The only way to do that is to MAKE IT RIGHT!
