Never let it be said that I am not helpful or concerned for a fellow CVite. Poor David Israel seems to be having trouble lately putting together enough words to come up with an original sentence or thought and has taken to assiduously reading my postings and then copying pieces of them onto his blog where I am not allowed to post. So I will attempt to take it upon myself to give the poor fella something new every day. It is the right thing to do, yes?!
Let's take the time to correct a few mis- representations of me on his blog. I mean it is only fair that if one keeps stealing my words that I have the right to correct their misuse. First of all, Lanny dear, I have no "burning inner anguish". My word, but that language is good enough to be used in the pulpy novels, you know, those bodice ripper ones.
What I do have is a feeling of great sadness for the Village. We are again subjected to the misuse and misrule policies of the past five years and the sad thing is that this is like the little boy with his finger in the dike, trying to plug the leak. Well, folks, we have a serious leak in the Village. You all purport to want to keep the Village on the same level as it has been, yet day after day we see people moving out, long time residents voting with their feet and selling up and going byebye.
And why, because they believe there is no hope in the present or near future for things to change, they despair at the situation, and decide the hell with it, and leave. And whose fault is that? And Gracie, please, not one of your inane rants on how everything is all the fault of the delegates.
I cannot figure out why David Israel is so bitter, so nasty, why he vocally tweeted in a high pitched voice on Friday, nor why he feels he has to copy my words. Again, I can tutor you in writing - I did so for many others.
Today you should be getting your letter about the recount. It has nothing to do with "sore losing" or anything else but a desire to do a recount, to look at the original ballots. Elections all over the USA and the world do recounts. It seems that only here in CVWPB that it becomes a great hullabaloo as the current administration fights it tooth and nail. All that does is raise the level of interest and curiousity as to exactly what went on during and after the voting. So simple - just cut the nonsense and agree to an original ballot recount with proper people in place- and not the same ones and not the retreads from the UCO office, but people picked independently by the candidates interested in doing so. But, time will tell and we will know if you will do the simple and right thing.
In the meanwhile, please feel free to load this onto your blog in its totality or better yet, post the series of questions that I will be asking you and even better than that - POST SOME ANSWERS instead of whining and complaining how pitiful you are in that someone does not like you.
So stay tuned for the next question. Ta ta, cheerio!
