OOPS!!! WATCH THAT FOOT!

  Hoof and mouth disease in animals is called foot and mouth disease in humans. While there is a real infection possible, in humans it is basically actually a foot in mouth problem. It involves, generally, a person acting like a horse's ass, and a marvelous series of contortions as that foot is, with great difficulty, extracted from that mouth. Often with little success as the diseased words almost always find yet another host in a willing, human horse's ass. Unfortunately, it has risen to pandemic status in today's world, particularly within the USA. Oops!

Unfortunately, while we can laugh at the immense stupidity of those misplaced feet, there is all too often an underlying peril which must be addressed. Ethics of Our Fathers, an important book in the Jewish world, reminds us that s/he who is truly wise will keep counsel to oneself. Thinking before speaking. Such a quaint idea. Perhaps we should practice that more often. But we do not. Oops!!

Simple example with horrendous, ongoing consequences. Putin boasted that his "special" military operation within Ukraine would be over within a few days or so. Like a walk in the park, as they were "welcomed" by "liberated" Ukrainians. Almost two months later we can ask, "How'd that go for you, Vladimir?" The blood of the dead, the slaughtered, the dust of a pulverized country, obscure his answer, even as the fighting continues, and existential worldwide peril escalates. Oops!!

Apparently, blindness, intellectual and emotional, is both a major cause and side effect of this contagion. Please, someone explain to me, in words of one syllable or less, how a Jewish woman can defend a filthy cause which advocates for her own destruction, at the very least, confined to the dreg zone of society. Been there, done that, so where the hell were her brains as the tongue worked? Up that proverbial horse's ass, I guess.

Here are her words, straight from the horse's misplaced mouth.

 “Anyone who hates Jews just to hate Jews is stupid and low IQ,” she wrote. “There is no reason to blindly hate Jews.” 

So, therefore, according to this troll running for Congress in my benighted state of Florida, intimates that it is therefore okay to not blindly hate Jews, just simply come up with a reason, any reason will do. That would make the hatred okay. This gem stated as she defended that preposterous "white replacement" conspiracy flag, even as fellow idiots, fellow horses' asses chanted the same damned stupidity, calling the Buffalo slaughter a "false flag' episode, not real, no deaths, just like the false flag attack at Sandy Hook, with all those oh so talented little kids playing the bloodied dead!!! How many oops here, I ask, I cry, I scream!!

Continuing to follow the twisted byways of this herd of walking, talking asses, contorted, with feet in mouths, we come across a concept, with an   unfamiliar term, though the concept is all too real, in thought and action. Quite active actually within our Senate and House, unfortunately flown at super speed with their help, over to the Supreme Court and has infected almost every state legislature.

Hegemonic masculinity describes a position in the system of gender relations, the system itself, and the current ideology that serves to reproduce masculine domination.

Does this ring a bell for you? Recall the criminal contortions of the Senate as they persisted in continuing to destroy our Supreme Court. Do these names - Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, Cawthorne, Jordan, Graham, McCarthy, and so many other afflicted GOP members in office today, so many Trumpian horses with tragically infected asses, pus filled, bloated, as they drag down the country. Their horrific truth denying, destructive attempts to overthrow the basic ethos of this, our once wonderful country. The suborning of foolish women into their morally deficient, ruthless camp, all the better to deny these same women and all their sisters basic human rights, to control their own bodies, to make their own decisions about their own lives. All to hue true to that destructive, regressive school of thought - or mis thought!  Oops!! And multiply that oops to infinity.

Al Roker, the beloved weatherman, spoke of advice his father gave to him. This is advice which behooves us all to follow. Would that we actually would! I have heard similar takes on this advice, and it makes a whole lot of sense, with little or no room for oops moments. A much better, purer, healthier, welcoming world.

"If you can look in the mirror and say you've done your best at the end of the day and you like the people you work with, you've had a good day."

 How many of us can honestly say that at the end of the day? Too few. Sadly so. We need some societal foot therapy, some speech therapy, and a campaign to eliminate all the oops that needlessly, harmfully, afflict our world. No oops anymore. Not where it counts anyway.
