The anger consumes me. The ugliness of a world gone mad, totally off track of decency and now right back with full blown traditional, enthusiastic murder en masse of Jews, wherever they are, wherever the conditions are ripe, with the murderers using modern enhancement so as to exponentially up the catastrophe.
Nothing really has changed since time immemorial. Kill the Jews is considered a legitimate open in your face political stance these days. Period. And the anger grows apace, boiling me from the inside, asking why, why, again and again. Why is the hope, the dream, of a good life via hard work and a good future for the following generations to always be challenged when one is a Jew. Why must the community organizations spend tens of thousands of dollars for security upgrades, fortifying buildings against invasion, for gun licenses and training of members, funds that would otherwise have gone into needs of the community and general charity or saved for a rainy day. Friends, that rainy day is here, only a category maximus of storms, perfect storm conditions round the globe. We are drowning in its wild accompanying waters.
I. AM. ANGRY. I. AM. DEVASTATED.
Once again, my people are being slaughtered, targeted. Viral, vicious antisemitism barely disguised under politically purer terms such as antizionism or societal improvement or "progressive" thinking. I guess under those terms society is to progress once the irritant Jews are gone. All the problems of the world thrust upon the already burdened shoulders of Jews, so get rid of those Jews and the world improves. That is the party thinking, a plank of its platform. Kill the Jews, outlaw their homeland, cast them as world criminals, conspiring against humanity and the gates are open, the wagons of murder and hate rolling in with the enthusiasm of participants in the the Oklahoma land grab.
Cast the Jews as aliens in an increasingly troubled challenged xenophobic world, use the shedding of their blood as a distraction from the truth, from the criminally incompetent, venal governments. Even if sympathy is expressed at the outset, it is too much for the world bear and the sympathy drops, at ever faster rate and voila! the Jews are to blame. For what? For anything and everything, every wrong of the world, from time immemorial. Kill them and contribute to a better world. Such legit fun, like the Purge movies, only this is real, not limited to one day a year, and the coppery smell of spilled blood is overwhelming. The gory mutilated bodies of men, women, children, infants, elderly, handicapped - all real.
Held to impossible double standards, vilified in consequential inevitable failure, cast as cause of their own fate, the hatred of the world. Deserving of the worst fate. Even unbelievable horror, barbarity, savagery, monstrous catastrophe rained down upon Jews, upon Israel, the obvious stated goal to eliminate all Jews, initial sympathy quickly bleeds away in overriding concern for the terrorists, the "militants', for humanitarian concerns not of Israel's making, but rather caused by the cynical use of these people by the own. Even as Israel turns itself inside out to accommodate, giving them time to evacuate, just as other wars -right - no. So wrong!!!!!!
As world Jewry and its friends mourn the horrific attack, war waged upon civilians, on a holy day, no warning. Simple directives: kill, maim, rape, torture, mutilate, burn alive, decapitate, kidnap, even try to fool a young captive into saying three phases necessary to convert to Islam, and then what? Justifying permanent kidnaping as he is now a Moslem!!
Jews are a people with one degree of separation. We all know someone or meet another who knows a relative or shared friend. So it goes. It is called Jewish geography and played at every gathering, large or small. Those Jews who turn on their own people, seeking approval from others, are perforce contained within this same nation. Deny it or not, crave the approval of others, they share the same fate. The many peace activists in those kibbutzim and villages were slaughtered equally as savagely along with the rest of the butchered.
We grieve, deeply, for each lost life, for the lost generations which will never be. For the contributions that will never be. For every kidnapped victim alive, in unspeakable terror. We grieve for the bereft. And we grieve for the losses we know will soon be forthcoming, lost in an eternal search for the right to live in peace.
I am so angry. I am filled with rage. I am weary to my bones. Till when, dear Lord? Ad matai? I will let the next sentences speak for themselves, for the slaughtered, for the martyrs. For me, for every Jew and in fact, for any caring human being. There are the words of haters and the words of others, may their memories be for a blessing.

"May the Omnipresent One have mercy on our brothers the whole House of Israel who are in distress or captivity, whether on sea or land. May He lead them from distress to relief, from darkness to light, and from oppression to redemption, now, swiftly and soon - and let us say: AMEN.
Always together. Only together.
That is the only way.
We ask that the One Above hear our anguished voices, dry our tears, sheer us within His arms, and bring all back home, safely.
May peace reign.
