DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN

I believe those words were said by Yogi Berra, and though funny, it is not so, when applied elsewhere. When it is related or referring to a frightening ever returning movement, its vitriolic language sharper, of horrid plans and deeds, well, not so funny after all.  It turns out everywhere and anywhere. Voiced with ugly intimations and accusations, as justification for that which can never be justified, it is strengthened by those who should know better, actually do know better, yet continue on this treacherous path which has only horror and evil at its end.

"We can't get jobs. We can't go to school or to college. They've forced us to sew these stars onto our clothes and we're banned from shops and restaurants. We're being attacked on the streets. And no one blinks an eye at it. Threats are painted on our doors and our property is vandalized for no reason. And what about those of us who simply vanish?"

The character in the novel asks, " How much harder can it get?" Her sister responds, “Things are never as bad as they seem".

Both were right and wrong. It could and indeed does get much harder, ramping up to incitement of entire nations, filling them with bloodlust and crazed outlets for their sating, to a degree heretofore unknown - though practice aplenty there always was. Things were not as bad as they seemed because they weren't. They were merely the opening steps, the first shots of a campaign so crazed that it took priority over the needs of waging war against the Allies.

So bad, so egregiously violent and drowned in blood a new term was necessary- genocide. Even with the very visible victims, eyewitness reports, its existence was denied or even laid upon the shoulders of those who were its victims. Or claimed to be a just and justified campaign against the scourge of the Jews, enemies of the world.

This campaign has continued in a straight line from the Holocaust to the riots of today. The hatred has intensified, exponentially, ever more blatant. Campuses of universities, in America and all over the world, exploded, spewing violence, putrid venom. With permission or innate weakness and incompetence, the authorities wavered, wrung their hands, made deadlines but never followed through.

Their actions or lack of decisive actions empowered these disruptive forces as they believed approval was unanimous and/or contagious. Always.  Consequences were tossed aside, meaningless and ignored. Their professors, in particular Arab and Moslem ones and their camp followers stood on the lines with them. So did the professional activists   paid to stir up trouble, to be rabblerousers, to literally teach these fools, how to enhance their efforts.

How to ramp up the violence and intensity. How to grow their reputations. How to fight, or not. What to say. When to say, and when to be quiet. Or to chant, the posters and 'art' of hate. How and when to break into buildings and fortify their situations.     They were told to place the women before the men so that the men are safe and the women to be hopefully a deterrent and if not, well, c'est la vie.

The Oct7 massacre is claimed by them as a hoax, or an act of the Israeli government perpetrated upon its own citizens! Or celebrated, cheered on by the university cheerleaders, rooting for violence and murder, for rape and torture, for the burning of infants, for holding kidnapped civilians until their death. do they part.

Most cutting is to see and hear the deluded self-hating Jews standing there amongst those who wish for them to die and cheer and shout right along with them - for their own death. People, how and why have we gone amiss? How did this happen? How did we allow it? Why did we not see this coming? Why did we not prevent it in the first place? Why did we allow the education of our children to be hijacked and perverted and twisted to a conveyance of hate and violence, particularly, as usual, against the favored target of haters - Jews.

To understand the non-understandable, one must begin with the question as to why the Jews? Why the Anti Semitism now so glaringly, violently raised to a vicious JewHatred. Is there even an explanation? Is trying to do so an exercise in futility and worse, perhaps give the haters a sense of validation?

More tomorrow. This topic is too large, too consequential to cover thoughts in one posting. To even formulate the thoughts. To follow where they lead me. To achieve a goal of some understanding and an ability to consign this hatred to the Devil, from whence it came and where it belongs.

Tomorrow. There is always a tomorrow.

Is there?

Of late, I am not so sure.
