What colossal nerve this man has! He not only lies, but lies with a stupid tongue and takes the delegates and the residents of the Village to be idiots with no thinking power.
Take a look at what he has posted on his blog today. He posted a letter or email from a Boca resident that purported to be from a man in Century Boca re Wi Fi and the options the people there have. David phrased it as a warning to the residents there about "falling into the traps of the small companies who promises all and give nothing." Interesting that one of the small companies that the Poohbah does not like now is THE SAME DSL AS HE WISHED TO FOIST UPON US HERE IN OUR OWN CV. There are two other options, including Comcast. The original writer seems to present everything fairly and in a non partisan manner, but the Poohbah now wants to use everything, twist everything so he can get his new obsession into play and that is broadband, another multi million boondoggle that he wishes to enmire and enmesh us in once again.
How many more times does he think he can pull the wool over the eyes of the residents? How many more times does he think we will be dumb and quiet and let him run rampant over us. He lies through his teeth and then thinks that we are stupid, not realizing that he is showing us his own stupidity and paranoia.
And by the way, why does he never mention all the pitfalls of broadband, of any large network and the holes it opens into one's private business. Today's paper presented another issue of the damaging holes in the security of these large networks and meanwhile this man tries to write off and write down the Comcast system. Meanwhile all is working well with it and the associations are satisfied with their systems they have installed.
But this man never learns. He boasts of putting it all out there on his blog but notice that there is no video of the Finance and budget committee or of the Exec. Bd meeting today where in 25 minutes he rammed his budget through with his yesmen all sitting there like lummoxes. His favorite threat? If you do not approve the budget as is, you will pay more money. The money - a bit over $2. What he does not say is that in order to get the amounts in reserve that he appears to be proposing, there will have to be a HUGE increase. Where else are we going to get $700,000 this year and a million dollars a year for the next 14? He still does not show nor break down the budget, just gives huge numbers without description - something we had all along when Dorothy was Treasurer. We traded that in for a Mumbles, who kowtows to Poohbah and the Snake, who changed the method of accounting, to the same method that was used when Black was the treasurer and he moved funds around on his whim without consulting with the DA and here we are with a crap job of road work and perimeter walkways.
Do we want that again? We do not! We must fight against this ramrodding through of their harmful and disasterous plans for the Villlage. We must sew that tongue back to the roof of his mouth so the forkedness of it does not harm us any more, any longer.
Why am I writing this? Why have I taken to the waves to take off at this man? Because he does not scare me. The fear that once controlled the Village under his rule, under his thumb is no longer and to paraphrase the song, "the fear that once controlled me can't get to me at all."
"So here I stand (we stand) and here I'll (we'll stay)" until this man goes down in defeat. No more paranoid fantasies to take over this Village. No more aloof and distant president who has no connection to any one here in the Village other than his small coterie of sycophants, of losers who feel that his dictatorial powers will rain blessing Down on them.
VOTE NO NO NO ON THE BUDGET.
NOMINATE NEW PEOPLE FOR THE BOARD.
SECOND THEIR NOMINATIONS
VOTE NO NO NO ON HIS PROPOSALS THAT WILL RUIN US ALL.
