Well, it is a good thing that there is another Forum scheduled - this one with food! I doubt that any of the incumbents will show up for "Team Dave" is rather cowardly and rather infected with the virus of lies. Joy is particularly good at it, capable of doing so with a straight face, talking of the praise she claims she gets for her rag - G-d help us! and David, well, David is just the consummate liar, right thru his teeth.
He spoke of Team Dave, using the names of people who are currently in UCO but who did work on their own and of their own volition. Toni is a good person and does not need to be subsumed into the David trap and pit of slime. She knows her stuff and yes, she went to take courses, but David did not pay for that - WE did, our UCO money and fees, so brag about it as if he accomplished something? I think not and by the way, shall we go to the videotape wherein Toni yelled at David for his throwing me off the insurance committee which she heads - without so much as asking her? Yes, you see, David, Team Dave is not always the prime example of serenity and bliss, is it? And in addition, the rates were going down all over Florida and though David Israel acts as if we are not part of Florida, part of the USA, we are in the eyes of others and so we enjoyed the same reduction. David Israel had NOTHING to do with it!
He could not answer other questions posed to him by Phyllis or questioners from the audience including mine wherein he could not and/or would not answer why the only accomplishment he talks of is supposedly his instillation of email in 2009 - 7 years ago and since then? Ahhhh - broken roads, wasted millions of dollars, putrid and deteriorating water situations, fraying infrastructure, repression of the rights of others, nasty and insulting behavior in meetings, inappropriate dress habits, including today, coming in those same "farshtunkene" black stretched out and faded shorts. Oh, and one of Barbara Cornish's shirts she bought him. Farshtunkene means stinky, by the way. This does not show respect to the people of the Village. Every other participant was dressed nicely but him -no way. He could care less.
Phyllis and the other candidates did quite well, answering questions, presenting themselves and all in all it was pretty smooth and a thank you to Susan Bucher for her work and guidance. The obvious candidate for president of UCO is Phyllis as we are tired of the same old lies, the denial of responsibility for the roads, the lack of forethought in pushing, incessantly, the Wi Fi, whereas Phyllis understood the need to wait and meanwhile our Wi Fi is quite ample and sufficient and he who wants it has it. This is called careful spending of money and certainly well prepared for as Phyllis would only sign contracts with attorney vetting, unlike David Israel and Team Dave!
Now for the personal interest in today's events.
I attended Jewish day school from first grade through twelfth grade and thus have just a "tad" understanding and knowledge of Judaism in addition to living it my whole life. Therefore, when a person who shall be nameless but who knows who he is, came up to me and accused me of being a nasty person - his right to his opinion though I beg to differ - and why? Because I engaged in "loshon Harah" or speaking evil of someone. How? By writing bad things about David Israel he claims and he knows that is loshon harah because he checked with his rabbi. Uh huh. Please, D.F. tell your rabbi to call me and we can have an interesting discussion of the meaning of the term.
Listing the things that a person has done that are or were faulty and harmful to others and are reasons for taking him/her out of a position wherein more harm is caused is NOT loshon harah. Sorry, but you are misinformed. Talking of things that need to be changed is NOT loshon harah. Sorry again. If I were to make up stories of things that he did, or even tell of things that were true but had no place in the purpose of deposing him, now that would be loshon harah, but defining a person by his beliefs, or listing the misdeeds and poor planning and misuse of funds, etc., etc., etc,. is NOT loshon harah. You can still not like me, but please make it so for proper and true reasons and if you go around saying what you said to me, why then guess what? You are then engaging in loshon harah, so think about it, my friend, certainly do so.
In the meanwhile, I wish to thank the several people who came up to me and thanked me for my blog, for the information it has given them, for the introduction to knowledge not only about this Village - about which I should write a book, I was told - but also of and from around the world and even when I wrote about myself. Thank you, my friends, for every writer loves to get feedback from sane people, not nasty sexual and perverted violent remarks or the same drivel again and again.
So, am I an imperfect human being? Of course, as are all of us. The only perfect people are dead people and I prefer to hold off on that for a while, G-d willing. But I do try to improve myself every day and sometimes it is a work in progress and sometimes not, but one thing I must say. I hate liars. Cannot tolerate them. I try not to lie to myself, let alone other people and tried to engrain that in the mind and soul of both my educational and biological kids. Lies are bad and serve no purpose. Tell the truth. So David, read those lines and think about it. Lies are found out. The truth will out - always and I have said and proven that many times. No loshon horah here, D.F. so you think about this too, before you go running over to condemn one person and then run over to another and tell that person what you have done and how you have protected and defended him. Really!
Meanwhile - a deal. You watch out for your soul and I will watch out for mine. That would be just perfect, don't ya think!
Oh dear, just read David's whole letter of lies that he posted on his blog and the lies are amazing. Nowhere does one see the repression of the media nor the conflict of interests in one person being a VP, an editor and the controller of Channel 63. You guys would do well in Russia or Communist China or perhaps North Korea would appreciate your skills. Then he talks of HIS, excuse me, advance in information technology with the ballot machines.!!Excuse me? It has been asked for , for years and when he talks of avoiding any issues with paper ballots - it was his Team Dave that messed around with the ballots, misreading, misusing, mishandling, etc. so kettle and pot here, folks. The rest of his posting is rife with errors and lies, again and again and you can thank Lanny for the ghostwriting. David even had to read it without making eye contact for if it is not one's words then one has to read it. So much for honesty. And by the way, still want to accuse me of having a ghost writer in my home to write my pieces and postings, huh Joy? Maybe you might care to apologize for that slur. Just sayin'.
