It seems as if people cannot distinguish the difference between the pot and the kettle and which is calling the other down on something. Personally, I am finding it hard to differentiate myself. Here are a few reasons why.
So the FBI decided that Clinton's email business was not worthy of a criminal charge but did deserve a slap, naughty, naughty, for her actions. Really? Truly? The FBI was seriously saying this? The same FBI that had scandals in the labs, the same FBI that cannot after millions of dollars come up with a good computer system and has to start all over again, the same FBI that should be investigating all the government websites and email servers that HAVE been hacked, including Personnel and Social Security and go find someone to charge there or to slap on the wrist. This whole thing has been such a political ploy and now Ryan is saying that the GOP will run a probe. Again? With our money? Enough already. And enough with the Petraeus deal as he KNEW that these were top secret, highly classified items and he gave them to a pillowmate. Uh huh, a tad different, is it not?
And to go into the larger world, around the world, yesterday Muslims expressed a question, or feeling, asking why they did not get the sympathy of the world at the horrific and mass bombings taking place in their countries. Truthfully, people are horrified at the mass killings, but I believe there is also a feeling that this is a catastrophe brought upon themselves by themselves. When in one country it is the Shiites bombing the Sunni and the opposite in another country and when both are against the Yazidis or there is prejudice against the Rohingya or any of these feelings expressed mainly against their fellow Moslems, then the sympathy is hard to gin up. There are those who feel that many countries are reaping what they sowed, having supported the terrorists, funded them at the outset and now that it has come back to bite them, well....People also resent the fact that the governments appear to do nothing to rein in the extremists. They allow the rant of fanatical imams, allow their young to hear these words of hate, even against fellow Moslems, the chants against Israel and the West and one wonders why should we feel sorrow for those who allow it, seeded it? Of course the mass slaughter of humanity anywhere is to be mourned, but we are all humans here and this is a terrible situation, to say the least. Are there pots and kettles here? I believe so, but sometimes it is hard to tell the difference. Where the pots originated is where the kettles have to become ascendant and perhaps even harsh in their flushing out of the terrorists, the pots that are causing such death in their own countries, let alone in others. Bad situation all around.
Then let us go back to the micro world right here in CV we have the defender of the faith, the defender of Liberty and all American civil rights. Uh huh - not. Seems more like a hero worshipper of the nationalist party in Poland which just dismissed personnel from the radio station and papers due to "disagreements" and doesn't that sound familiar. Whatcha' think about that, David Israel, Joy Vestal, Myron Silverman? Who is the pot and who is the kettle here? Who is the role model - you or the Polish nationalist?
We have people who state that they need volunteers, committee members, help at UCO and yet.....wherefore, dearest UCO people, are there people who canst neither get work as a volunteer nor placement upon a committee? Pot and kettle? Nah, here the pots and the kettles all belong to the UCO officers and their hypocritical behavior.
Trump states that he is not a hate monger, that he is not prejudiced and actually is a fan of the Old West for he had a "marshal's badge or a "sheriff's" badge on an anti Semitic page, and not a Jewish star. Uh huh! Try again. Own up to your misdeeds. At least Clinton criticized Max Blumenthal for his truly disgusting remarks about Elie Wiesel even as the rest of the world paid homage to the man. At least she did not praise Saddam Hussein for his ability to kill terrorists. Too bad that many of these so called terrorists were simply beings fighting for their freedom, their rights, people who refused to bow under the demands of his insane sons, and the fact that the man was a terrorist himself in his behavior and misdeeds.
Pots and kettle. Who is living in a cave of their own making, ignoring the truth that is out there re Atlantic Broadband even as he immures himself in his back room cave? Who is the pot here? Think about that and find a mirror, all you pots out there. Are we kettles? Perhaps, but as kettles we are brewing the tea that will cleanse this village and put us on the straight and narrow, the honest and the practical and the worthwhile. Maybe we should have a cookout, hey, just like a debate! Oops sorry, forgot, you do not do that. Not enough broth or meat in your pot. Such a pity.
I think that the electorate all over, here and in the country nationwide and all over the world are tired of the pots calling out kettles and denying the truth. Time to clean out the kitchen of useless pots, old and cranky pots, tired ones, and in with the new and bright and shiny, the transparent ones with clear faces shining in their reflection, not hiding in a back room cave. You see, the truth can be hidden only for so long and then....there it comes. Truth will out.
So, David, what is the skinny, the real skinny, with Atlantic Broadband? Truth time.
