WHATUP!

    So yesterday was a day out of Bizzaroland. First of all we had the crazy travel day which sent all my plans for yesterday and the week flying off into the clouds! At the airport nice and early, slow walk to the counter from the car return, nice people, close gate and wham!!! The plane comes and it is broken! Oops! Someone forgot to check some cable or other and we could not fly. But on the plane and then off again and a looooooong wait till 3:30 for the flight to Atlanta and then to PBI. We finally got home at 9 at nite, fully seven hours after scheduled time and hour upon hour at the gates. Hungry too when I ate my prepared lunch and who the hell thought we would be there at dinner time too! And the airline, oh so generous as they pulled out a box or two of stale and inedible snacks and opened a soda machine - with no drinks I could use - and I was oh so underawed by their care and concern!! Not the people on the front lines as they were good and responsive and it was not their fault, but management could use a few lessons.
     Anyway, no one got thrown off, no one threatened anyone, no fights, so I guess it ended up with some good flights! But in the meanwhile? What the hell is going on? Are we blind to the world? One person said it all, for when Trump kiddo said his father's life had gotten exponentially worse as a result of his election, the response was - well, so have all of ours!!!!Oh yeah!!
     And when will our lives get better? When a man is so openly deranged that he either cannot recognize the truth if it rose up and slapped him in the face, or deliberately lies as easily and naturally as brushing his teeth, who claims to be a patriot, but cannot even sing the 28 words of G-d Bless America and who already showed he did not know the words to The Star Spangled Banner, when this draft dodger with his bone spur, when this denier of our rights and determination to remake America in his own image with him as the authoritarian dictator at the head, when this man keeps at it, where are we?
     This man who claims openly that he is above the law or is, in fact, the law, is now going to make our future - unmake it, as the case may be? He will ignore human rights as he talks with North Korea, change his mind every two seconds, claim he can pardon himself for what exactly, lie and lie and lie and then blame these lies and the truth being uncovered on the 'false' media, and accepts praise from our enemies. Well, he is not above the law, no one is, not even a king and we deposed our king long ago, did we not? And no, he cannot murder someone and get away with it! The man needs to be impeached, indicted and convicted and be gone from us and hopefully a lesson will have been learned by those who would follow in his hateful and hate filled path. So a judge ruled he can be deposed in a shameful defamation case, one that points out his piglike behavior and attitude towards women and we can take him to task.
     We must prevent the rise of the hate groups that take encouragement from him and his statements. We cannot allow our Attorney General and head of the Justice Department to praise our right to rip children, babes, from their mother's arms, and then lose them in the process. How many more lives are we going to shred - and all because they are after a dream of a better life for their families, taking jobs that are now going begging and killing the prices so watch as we begin to lose brains in research, teachers and workers, doctors, all the way to the migrants who pick the fields. Guess the prices in the future for fixing your roof or your lawn! And now we have the lawmaker who evidently takes heart from the baker decision of the Supreme Court which says freedom of religion trumps human rights and discrimination laws. Now, he says, we can decide not to serve people of color for that and what is next? The signs of colored and white? Or the signs no Jews or dogs?
     What up, folks? We are up? We and our country and we are allowing it to go right down the drain, quickly too. Whatup, folks? We need to get up, rise up, hear the words of that song too and do our parts to get rid of the trash in government, the unAmerican Americans in our present administration and begin with the head, with the need to be impeached President. Whatup? Our future at the crossroads.
