TRULY? TRULY!

     You remember the kid in school who always got away with everything? That kid would deny and deny and worst of all, the teacher would use that kid as an example to follow. Innocence is not always the truth, nor is it real.
     I am tired of the denials. Tired of the shouts and the ranting. Tired of the lies. Tired of the repeated threats to pardon himself, to rule the roost because he is the President. Too bad he does not know that no one is above the law, and certainly not here. Nixon tried that and guess what? He had to resign or face impeachment and conviction. And so does this man now sitting there in the Oval Office.
     If one is innocent is not the person better served by opening the books, the papers and showing it all? Is not the person under suspicion if he denies without proof, again and again and changes the story umpteen times. When one lies, it is difficult to remember the lies and then one contradicts oneself and here we go round and round again. The stench of dishonesty, of corruption, of the growing gangrene of the State is now taking over the entire government. Pruitt, once again, has done it again. He wanted a used mattress from Trump Towers. Puh-lease! It is sickening! And this is a man in the top ranks of the government! Another cheater and liar and selfish person, raping the country.
     Today there was violence in the streets between an alt right hating and hateful group and the antifas who came out to face them. I am afraid, so afraid, that this is only the beginning. the hatred, the deaf ears, the uncaring, the tribalism, the refusal to realize we are all Americans, the refusal to admit truth, to admit that the man is crazy, selfish and dangerous.
     And the problem of the kids remain with us. The Dreamers are on tenterhooks. The little kids are being warehoused in a former Walmart, with 'top of the line, state of the art" facilities. What? The better to cage these kids, similar to the cages - with four walls and a wired up ceiling!!! - seen in another facility?! The first warehouse would not even let in a US Senator. Something is majorly wrong here.
     Really and truly we had better wake up. We had better realize that truly, this man will drag us into some type of apocalypse. Truly, he is a menace and truly, we are allowing this to happen, tired of his escapades, his arrogance, his craziness, but we must pay attention. Truly.
