WAR DECLARED!

     Frightening, yes? The thought of war sets one's shoulders to creep up to our ears, the hairs on our neck to rise, and a chill down the spine, and not from movie thrills either. And yet, here we are, going about our business as we display ignorance, deliberate rejecting of the realities of our times. Like it or not, this President and his crew have declared war on the American citizen. He has threatened our free press, calling them the "enemy of the people". He has tried to politicize our national police and law enforcement agencies and turn them on his political opponents He has tried to coopt the armed forces into political sides - a major no-no. He has "fallen in love" with every dictator he has met (save Maduro for some reason but is mishandling that situation anyway). He has alienated our traditional enemies and in fact  everyone, as he rams a trade war down the throat of all nations, as economies begin to tank, as 2019 begins to look more and more like 2008. This is war.
     There appears to be no limit to the immorality and gall of this man. He has declared war on all common sense, on common values. He boasts of his sexual peccadillos, is raunchy and low life in his behavior, and cannot utter one complete thought without it turning it into a word salad of babble and/or viciousness. In fact, if anybody can make any sense at all of his Fox interview, please do so, certainly so that it would make some sense, even if only to prove the point - this man is illiterate and non intelligent!! To say the least, and add to that his mental instability, love of the concepts and realities of nepotism and cronyism, the corrupt individuals appointed to his administration and the doubling of that when he has married couples such as McConnell and Elaine Chao. No wonder the Senate is dead and the Cabinet corrupt and incompetent!! 
     He has declared war on the separation of church and state, of the branches of government, rushed headlong into politicizing the armed forces, and even is trying to turn the national July 4th celebration into a monster political rally for himself - something that is absolutely not allowed. Never mind disgusting!! He has turned a cruel and cold shoulder to our values and history and need of welcoming immigrants, declaring war on them and other countries, threatening them, treating them as chattel, deporting immigrant veterans as non citizens and unwelcome in the land. Violation!!!! How do we say we honor our veterans when we do this!?
     Worst of all, he has declared war on the unity and very survival of our country. We have devolved into tribes, clans, of warring factions, from the government on down. He has turned the American citizens into babbling idiots, so much so has he enraged and enthused. No one hears anymore. No one listens any more. And that salute of his with his right hand out, his hand, palm down, and flat, every damn time he gets off and on his various aircraft, every time he sets up his 'impromptu' Rose Garden lawn meetings, I get the shivers. And the temperature of the nation rises in direct proportion to its rising division.
     Yes, war has been declared. We just need to recognize that and do something!  Appeasement never works, Senate, American people. The situation only worsens.
