Well, better late than never, as the saying goes. Yesterday, apparently having had enough of the insane and twisted lies of Trump, the media, long picked upon and denigrated by Trump as the enemy of the people and False with his immature capitalization, this same media has turned a corner. No more falsehoods or errors, or sincere lack of understanding that what was being said was false. Finally, there it is! Trump is a liar! Wow! I am shocked. Not! Like I never knew it. Like the rest of the world never knew it. The stupidity of deniers and wishers of another reality.
Reality has hit elsewhere as well. People were shocked at the comments of Trump on his most solemn visit to the commemoration of D-Day. This man who had "bone spurs" as the excuse for draft dodging, this man who did not fight a wink, who now states that well no one knew anything about Vietnam, now states that his 'service' as President is making up for his lack of service then. Can you believe the arrogance of this guy? This, the man who claims McCain was not a hero or one only because he was a prisoner of war, never mind his service as a pilot or the torture he underwent for so many years, who refused repatriation unless his fellow prisoners went with him. Trump makes me sick to the stomach.
But finally a breath of fresh air and honesty. Pelosi and Warren stated that the former wishes to see him in prison and the latter wishes to see him in handcuffs. Ah, the vision in my mind. Almost to much to imagine. But why should that be? The man is a crook. The man refuses to obey the laws and encourages others to do the same, ignore subpoenas and tell me, where would our justice system be without the ability to compel testimony via subpoena? Nowhere!! The man is definitely afflicted with some form of dementia and it matters not the name, only the results and if one does not want to imprison a demented man, stick him in a criminally insane ward and have done with it already. The country is splitting, tribal clans gathering, guns abounding and words and deeds of violence growing apace.
We, the American people, are being played for fools, for suckers. This man schleps his entire group of greedy children and their self inflated egos on his trip as if they are the equivalent to the British Royal Family. Well, excuse me on that one, for this is the family like those gangs of old, where brothers and cousins, parents and children, became outlaws together due to circumstances of the time. I agree that this is a form of these gangs, but why do we pay the bill and quite frankly, these people are no royal anything other than royal pains in the asses!!We pay the bills for Trump to go play golf in yet another of his golf resorts and he explains it away as doing good diplomacy! Really? By encouraging Ireland and Northern Ireland to put up a wall - the man is obsessed by walls. This is exactly what these two countries are trying to avoid, trying to keep away the possibility of a return to the violence of years ago. And this idiot goes off with his damned stupid mouth.
Well, back to the top. Good morning, folks. Let us all wake up to the reality, the one where we are governed by demented and incompetent people, have allowed nepotism and cronyism to return to full bloom, and have allowed this demented moron to reopen grave wounds with his tariff and trade wars. We have allowed a man with less and less of a working mind to lay down new regulations or kill them off, who allows inhumane conduct with immigrants, denying food and water, shelter, legal aid even for minors - and remember the picture of the little two year old being lifted onto a chair and being asked if she wanted a lawyer!!!!!!Just lock them all up. No ESL, no education for the kids. Nothing! And no help for their country of origin which is the real and only answer if we wish to stop the outflow from them. Humans are hardwired for survival, for the safety and care of their families and hence nothing less than improved countries will stop the flow. Think about it.
