WHAT THE .............

     Remember the song which asked, "What's the matter with kids today?" Well, apparently nothing that we have not led them into. We have provided ease of obtaining opiods. We have encouraged vaping, and we have destroyed their world in ridiculous and dangerous fighting between adults as we forgot the important things in life. So around the world we have kids protesting the availability of guns, of the ruination of the environment, protesting around the world as leaders  grow ever more dictatorial, and the wounding and even death of young people on the front lines of danger as in Hong Kong. They scold the adults in public forums, walk out of schools on organized days of support and stare at the adults as they wonder what the heck they are doing.
     So the true wording should be, "What's the matter with adults today?" Basically, they are behaving like children, toddlers, as they change patterns and behaviors with the actual kids. Full disclosure, I laughed quite heartily the past few day as I watched the late night hosts takeoff on that insane man masquerading as President. I laughed and then wondered as I watched his press conference with the Finnish President, as the meltdown took place royally! But, even as I laughed as the Finnish President knocked Trump's hand off of his thigh where Trump had parked it, I also trembled. 
     This is supposed to be the leader of the world? G-d help us, for this man truly exposed all his dirty laundry in yesterday's press meeting. Foul language, ridiculous nicknames, like the schoolyard bully he was and remains, and threats galore. Paranoid, demented, thinking no one is allowed to disagree with him and if they do, why they are treasonous, traitors, deserving of death!!News flash, Donald, there are no more absolute monarchs, save perhaps your BFF Putin who is just loving this mess, and one of the best things about this country is that one can criticize public figures without worrying about the men in black hoods coming to your door at 3 AM. Uh, correction, that is unless they are from ICE
     And speaking of ICE, what is with the collection of DNA from migrants? So they can have a "criminal" data base? Their words, not mine. Yesterday I visited the Museum of Jewish Heritage, particularly the one entitled "Auschwitz, Not So Far Away", an excellent exhibit about hateful and killing prejudice which apparently has not gone away. As I recall the words of the supposed scientists about the criminal characteristics of Jews, of Roma, I shuddered at the DNA bank proposed by the haters in our country. When will we learn to stop opening the doors and windows to the haters, to the people who in 2004 still rationally and calmly explained why it was so necessary to kill the children. See, he said, it was their blood and they could not be allowed to grow up and live, not with that blood. Categorizing people like that is never a good thing. But Trump and buddies opened the doors and broke the locks on the barrels of hatred stored all around the country and we have not done enough to stop it.
      Evidently the Trumpian rule of government , ignoring law and procedures, doing as one wishes, has dripped all the way down to our own CV. The 'ruling' clique seems to feel that it can play games with numbers, telling lies and misleading sentences about where the money is being used and assigned. Consideration time of budgetary recommendations are being stepped on as they will try to push it through blocking true public review. 
     So one wonders. Why the rush here? What are we not meant to catch and question and as for Trump, wow!!! Not that he is innocent, but that the rules do not apply to him. Not that he is innocent of wrongdoing, but that he cannot be prosecuted for any criminal deeds and actions as he is President. Well, all need to obey the law and no one is above the law. And that goes for truth in taxes too!!!!!
      Can anyone out there fully understand where we are and how we have reached this point, how we have allowed that man to constantly and consistently lie, lie, lie, call names, behave in treasonous tainted mannerisms and deeds, and run our country into dangerous shores?
     Can anyone still believe that we do not need a change of administration, both nationally and here in CV? Obviously, one is not the other, at least I hope! At present here in CV we have procedural misdeeds, wasting and poor use of our funds, misbudgeting, and lack of solid planning. Time to change all over the WPB, Fl., in CV. And time to change the voting rules as well, so no more Electoral College and a one resident owner owner, one vote system and stop the nonsense about how expensive it is. Democracy and equality and a working government is the way to go and the right of all, no matter where they live.
