CRABS AND SCORPIONS

  These are the words used to describe the gang at Mar-a Lago, the lair of you know who. That lair is in tatters this week and it does not look good for that special being, now the target of the following and who knows what else will arise as the investigations dig wider, deeper, delving into heretofore unknown matters. I do not take the Fifth as I type the list. I admit, fully and openly confess that I take great pleasure in seeing this man come closer to getting his comeuppance, though I mourn what he has done to our country.

1. Justice Department inquiry into J6 and far more. Criminal charges very possible. (yay!)

2. Georgia investigation into criminal tampering with the election count in Fulton County.

3. Huge civil case possible in NYS as AG Letitia James keeps plugging away, and for her troubles, getting over 400 "same answer" from Trump as he refuses to answer questions. This, the same man who ridiculed those who do that, for if innocent, why refuse to answer, what is being hidden. Ahem, Mr. ex-President who should never have been one!!

4. NYC criminal probe into the same matter as NYS is doing. Financial blow from NYS and criminal blow from NYC. What a combo!

5. The House Committee doing such a wonderful investigation, taking them wherever it goes, high and low and deep. Certainly, these men and women are profiles in courage, moving on, despite all the threats and calumny thrown at them. In particular, Liz Cheney who has at the moment dealt a possible death blow to her political career, at least in Wyoming.

6. Finally, we have all the surrounding detritus of the Trumpian world. Scott Perry. Kevin McCarthy. Greene, Boebert, Hawley, McConnell, the Kushners. The entire mythological world Trump created- on very weak foundations. Crumbling.

Long may it crumble.

So, where do crabs and scorpions enter the fray? Love it!

 Yup, no honor among thieves and scoundrels. When the dam begins to leak, the people around the dam begin to run for safety. Many do not find it. It is a very damaged USA that this man has bequeathed to its citizens. Worse, there are still too many deluded to the extent that on this issue they are brain dead, refusing to admit they were wrong; the man is a blowhard, a liar, a cheat, a total fraud, a TRAITOR, a violator of his sacred oath, the one he swore on his Inauguration Day. One of the worst days ever in the history of this country, a day that has sent echoes way into the future, damaging it, endangering the very future of this country as a democracy.

Thus, no Fifth for me. I fully confess, admit, with a great big smile on my face and the statement - Finally - as I contemplate what can be, what should be the outcomes of these various investigations. That is, if the lead characters continue to pursue the matter, and forge ahead with it even should the GOP, still defending that man, despite all revealed, have a majority in Congress. Perhaps there will be a number of GOP who remain somewhat loyal to what was, what is supposed to be, who will vote honestly, for America, for our nation, for the truth. Not walking away by retiring, or taking the safe, but conscience destroying path of acquiescence to a corrupted GOP.
