WAR!!!!!

  Yes, this country is at war. No, not the traditional one of battle against declared enemy countries, but rather an even more dangerous war. One that can kill many of its own people. That can kill the future for those surviving the combat. Moreover, this combat can become perennial, become a paragraph or two occasionally posted by some news outlet. "The war goes on, " it will state. "Last week the rebels ..."

The time has come when one cannot hide any longer behind a declaration of, I do not know, I did not know, or I do not pay any attention to politics, or I am too busy for this, or people exaggerate or one of any myriad number of excuses. All patently false, all trying to shrug off the stigma, the blame, all trying to make something what it is not, disregarding what it truly is.

What is it? It is, in words of one syllable or less - WAR! It is a war being fought more and more in the open, as the leaders of the movement for autocracy in this country, a state of being to which we have been sliding with ever more speed, buy into the filthy storm of lies and lies, of total negation of truths, or exhortations to rise up and fight, to take what is theirs, to fight the enemy elite - even though they are the elite. Their base? Deluded souls, desperate for a solution which will give them all they believe they are entitled to have, to own, those who will shed blood not for their country, but for the country of these false leaders.

Liz Cheney boldly states the truth, the situation as it is. While she has sympathy for the deluded, she acknowledges that they must be presented with the truth, recognize the truth. 

That will take place when these deluded souls see through the wizard's curtains to the truth - a whiny, miserable excuse of a human being along with his flying monkeys who obey his every command lest he disappear them from his sight. Their self-anointed leader, under delusions of grandeur, has misled this entire nation, now at the brink of civil war, or rather Civil War.

All the while his defenders trip over their own words, trash their once higher ideals and morals, as they now struggle to defend him! To defend a patent traitor to this nation, a man who mocked our every institution, unless and until it fell victim to his siege and war of words and actions. He fired those who could naysay to him, until he reached the point of no return - for us - in too many instances. A point of no return which no one recognized or called it as it is, was, until very late, way too late.  We, who defend this country, its history and future, now are coming from behind, hampered by incompetent, biased, partisan judges, open traitors among Congress, a voting mass who cannot distinguish reality from wishful thinking. A country most manifestly at war - for its very survival. A country which could not and will not survive another such President. There is even a plan of theirs in place wherein anyone can be fired summarily, from federal working forces, at the delight of the president. Restoring nepotism, cronyism, total malignant and corrupting forces to a government which only too recently has cast those practices aside - for the most part.

Trump states that "this is a dark time for the nation". No kidding! And who has shut off the lights of the nation? Who has declared truth anathema? Who has just about declared truth, honor, morality, concern for others to be treated as a dying bit of nonsense? Who has caused that deluded, violent man, part of J6 rebel forces, to attack an FBI office, all for the purpose of fighting Trump's war, not ours!!

We are a nation divided, a house standing against itself, to paraphrase words of a great man. This division cannot withstand the ravages of time; it will, of necessity, succumb to disaster unless stopped dead in its tracks. Unfortunately. it took too much blood to ensure our unity, and will take even more, right now, unless somehow, soon, very soon, we come back to our senses, climb back up that rabbit hole to reality, not fantasy, and finally recognize truth. Read, feel, know the truth of these words spoken yesterday. Read them again and know it deep into your soul.

A President who defied all the rules of the nation, took home boxes upon boxes of classified material, including details re international events and the security of this nation. Including conversations and agreements with the North Korean dude and the Russian one, Putin. And now states the boxes are the memoranda of his father-in-law who lived with them at the White House. Truly, a coward, an inveterate liar, and there is that adage - "No honor among thieves."

Cheney reminds us that there are things more important than defending a seat, as in defending the Constitution, for the truth to be dispersed throughout the nation. G-d bless. Even if we disagree on some points, she is indeed a hero.

This will not be unsealed, revealed, when the warrant is unsealed - and for good reason.  “a document that lays out all sorts of telling details about the larger investigation of Mr. Trump" — The best is yet to come! A cause for tears and laughter at one and the same time.

"It is the most malicious and malignant party, certainly in my lifetime," Wehner said of the GOP. "It is as malicious and malignant a party as I think we’ve seen in the history of our country." 

" ... we’ve tested the proposition, is there anything other than losing power that will appeal to the conscience of the modern day Republican Party? And the answer is, no."

The Atlantic contributor did suggest one solution however, "And so what it requires is for people in this country to rise up and to vote the right way and to speak out and stand for truth and honor and what’s right and good."

Well said indeed.

Trevor Noah calls it straight when he asks when has Trump ever shut up, stopped talking - until now. There must be gobs of stuff to hide. 

The truth shall indeed set one free, if they recognize the truth, stop its denial against all sense and sensibility. Truth will out, inevitable, akin to the revelations hidden beneath waters and ice, now uncovered and revealed. Truth will out. It will be uncovered. The longer we delay, the more harm will have to be undone, the bloodier it will get, unfortunately, I believe, figuratively and literally.

We must be prepared for hard fought battles as sadly, people do not give up their illusions easily. They are comforted by them, defend them against the buffeting of the winds of truth. We will need to be strong, not to relent as we see their unhappiness and confusion. Truth must be told, revealed, accepted. If the truth is ugly, fight to make it better, but do not deny it. That direction only leads to more trouble. Truth will out. It might be harmful in the short run, but not in the long run and that is the run of history. Let us leave a good, a positive, legacy to history.
