IT'S GOTTA STOP"

So said former federal prosecutor Kirschner as he spoke about the Trump situation. His feelings and questions are merely echoes of the confused as they wonder why the heck that man and his poisonous utterances are not locked up, as he should be, as he should have been long ago, his access to poison and vitriol spewing media outlets off limits to him. It would certainly aid in the effort to clean this nation up, remove it, or at least start the process of a complete and total overhaul, a removal of a national fatalistically failing sewage system which allows more sewage to leak out than keep in and clean up.

In fact, the entire nation is in so many ways negatively impacted by a rolling cascade of failures. We have lost our sanity.  We have written off compassion and empathy, falling into the extremists and their mantra of separate nation- states for differing viewpoints, going so far as to urge or even call for mass shifting of populations. A new third world nation replete with scenes of refugees, children lost and crying, people dying for lack of care, of basic human needs and rights openly stamped upon and out. No one will fight for rights and justice as they must rather fight to simply remain alive.

Hence, their absurd manifestly dangerous legally inane suits laid in front of the Supreme Court, a Court, the openly biased Court ever in our nation, a national shame, a legacy of Trumpian lack of thought and the gleeful smile of haters, of fascists - all within our own nation. Once a bright and shining America, now tarnished, rusting, with its founders and adherents through the centuries rolling over in their graves. The last hope - a return to sanity by crazed legislators or removal from office as they represent, are, a clear and present danger to this nation, their incompetence and bias clear as glass, our only hope the powerful legal reasoning and knowledge of three outnumbered women battling against five backwards men and one incompetent disgraceful woman who slithers along with the rest of the snakes.

Kirschner asks, states, "You need to treat the former president, the way you treat every other American who commits crimes, ... referring to the way the DOJ is handling its investigation. "And Donald Trump is being treated better than and different than everybody else who commits any kind of crimes that are comparable, mishandles classified information and it's wrong and it's gotta stop."

The answer? The reasoning? The responses? Not forthcoming, so many barricades, a deliberate, debilitating paralysis in the way of justice. Why? Silence. The truth as naked as the Emperor in his nonexistent clothing, yet unseen by so many willful blind. State legislatures, out of tune with their constituents, uncaring, vote to enact restrictive new laws inimical to social justice. They shout in triumph as they drag these legally ignorant irrelevant arguments through the lower courts awaiting final approval via the biased Supreme Court.

As for us, the people of the United States of America, well, we rust in place, a life shattered, torn, by new emergencies every day, unthinkable, yet right here. Suddenly we are the same as other nations for whom we have provided aid with food and medicines, with aid for clean water, for food distribution and production -and here we are. Drugs for children unattainable, formula for infants nigh unto impossible to find, kept under lock and key, limited, vast shortages and why? Food costs rising daily and why? Farmers are reaping not justifiable profits but losses instead. Who is gaining and who is losing? Rather obvious yet ignored.

Homeless populations rising, employed people unable to afford rents charged by opportunistic landlords and owners pricing out so many, families, with children now a more common sight in these encampments. Yet the malls are full, the restaurants busy as the moneyed group carries on, deaf and dumb, uncaring, passing by the beggars, the street sleeping bodies rolled up in blankets, their bellies full, not realizing or acknowledging that there but for the grace of G-d, of luck, of a better paycheck, there they would be, could so easily be with a small turn of the Wheel of Life.

One desperate mother said, referring to her search for medicine for her ailing child said,

“When your child is burning up, you don’t have time to wait.”

Well, this nation is also out of time.

The legislators need to respond in fair, non-partisan response.

Hunger, thirst, illness, affect all.

No one has a free pass through or immunity from disasters.

The disasters awaiting us via our stupidity, willful ignorance, our denial of truths, be it the angry politics of the day, or the incompetence, dishonesty, and greed of those supposedly there to "serve the public" or refusing to acknowledge that we are all one upon this challenged globe of ours - it does not matter.

Only the truth matters.

Only the need to apply emergency and long-term healing.

Only the need to fix before we are all existentially tried beyond our means and methods.

Hamlet noticed the smell of rot in Denmark.

The odor of rot here is no less.

Pray we act in a more timely reaction and action - before the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are released upon us.

Paul Whelan and the rest of our political hostages - let us work for a more timely rescue and return of you all to your families.
