THE UGLY TRUTH

    And so, to continue with the topic of two previous blog entries. These are hard and harsh things to read and feel yet I believe there is no viable option, to choose to ignore the growing crisis and its tangible threat to our continued existence as a united country, with a secure future. 

We must learn to read the signs, to understand the mind sets of people, to tolerate differences of thoughts and opinions, else we lose it all. There always will be those who cannot leave their fetid abodes. While disappointing and annoying, we cannot allow them to corrupt this country, to lose it for us. On the other hand, can we allow the self-appointed vigilantes of public morals to rule the roost? They and their hostile, vengeful McCarthy type hearings and statements are equally damaging, perhaps more so as there are more of them. 

         Originally buying into the idea of DIE I did so because I believed it would address bias across the spectrum, condemning all hatred stemming from bias. From erroneous beliefs which have a toxic effect on society.  Unhappily, though not surprisingly, I found this was not the case. It was more a championing of one or two minorities while dissing and dumping on others, buying into old, vicious lies, raising the level of prejudice even higher. Worse, we are being told that if we are white in coloring, we need to be abjectly apologetic. 

Ever more frightening. Ever more vicious. 

So many are tired of having to put on a false face   especially when dealing with people within the higher educational settings. Exactly where bias should have been banished, we find it given new life, rising levels of empowerment which destroys lives of their targets. Caucasians are asked to denounce themselves, be ashamed, take on the blame for past actions to which they have no connection nor responsibility. This is prejudice in action, crippling in consequences.  

        

As a Caucasian in appearance, I am deemed white, though as a Jew the right wing extremists deem me a "mud person" and too many of the left now wallow in their refurbished pig sty of vile and vicious antisemitism, barely disguised as 'legitimate' anti-Israel statements or as oh so righteous criticisms of Jewish kids on campus, professors who do not espouse the Palestinian cause, never miss an opportunity to further their ugly cause and strut, like Nazis, as their efforts bear fruit. 

        Hence, as usual, same old, same old, rerun again, the Jews are the culprits They are the instigators of, oh, let me count them as it is hard to keep track of all the accusations. My, have we been busy. The Covid pandemic and damned if we are not repeating it. Not to forget the super outer space laser used to start the California fires and floods, the Maui disaster, Noahide level floods round the world and profit from every and all changes in the economy, being nasty capitalists and communists at the same time.

      Last but not least, the Jews are human traffickers, best the children for - and here we insert the tired old trope and horrid accusation of blood libel- using the blood of Christian children in Jewish rites, mostly when baking matzah! This nonsense would  be amusing if the consequences were not so long lived, taken to heart by too many willing to blame anyone other than themselves for their situations and unhappiness, the perennial quest for a handy dandy scapegoat. And there they are - the Jews.   

So convenient and so many facets from which to choose. Tomorrow, we go on with further expansion on this and related topics.         

         When, I wonder, will people understand that bias is in the heart and mind of the biased, not in reality. When we realize that, then, perhaps, it can and will be different. The Jewish people have gifted much to the world, way above their fighting weight. 

They are a true minority at about 4% of the population of the world and in America, and less elsewhere. Truly a worldwide minority, with no other continent to provide fellow minority people. 

        Here is another tidbit for thought. Check into the treatment this country, Canada, Russia, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, all around the world have meted out onto the Indigenous populations -   Native Americans and their equivalents.

   Tomorrow, and tomorrow goes the saying and so say I.  

In the meanwhile, the same message, the same plea.  

Tomorrow.

And together.

Together. Only and always together.

Together, always together.

Together, united for good.

Together.

Together. 

We can heal the nation.
