We have reached that point, almost a nadir in the measurement of the world's benighted thinking and posturing. Yet another instance of empty hearts and empty brains, people who see neither trees nor forest, so blind are they. They will never hear, see or admit the sound and sight of a tree falling, seemingly alone in the midst of nature turned rogue. The twisted perverted nature of men meshing with the weird turn of a rogue nature breaking every rule and principle of the world of nature. Worse, perhaps the nature of mankind has always been like this, merely gone underground at times, living, fomenting anguish, resurfacing at their favorable moments for exposure and growth. We stupidly denied eternal truths, hoped against hope that indeed stripes and spots could be changed midlife. They cannot. They will not.
So, Anne Frank, move over. You are apparently passe, retro without the blessing of fashionistas. You are irrelevant, even in your home. Your life, your death, the death of literally millions alongside you - count for naught. No more relevancy than the deaths of insignificant segments of nature. A world of inclusion which operates on principles of exclusion. A world which divests itself of any and all truths and compassion. A world which shames the world itself, as it cringes and twists itself in futile attempts to separate from these twisted minds. The battles are seen via the newly twisted events of nature, and we are clearly on the losing side, retreating every day until our backs will be at the wall, no room to maneuver, no place of refuge and no more time.
Anne, here is the deal. You have a kindergarten named after you, but a point has been reached where your name "doesn't resonate with the community and isn't age-appropriate". The parents demand change, demand that insane inclusion which actually is exclusion, a vicious purposeful minimization of historical truths, the blood yet shrieking from the streets of Germany where it was spilled callously, joyfully. But, sorry, the parents have decided you are presently irrelevant. You must go. Seemingly there is no connection between the horror and goals of the Holocaust and the horrors and goals of Oct. 7, the latest pogrom in a dark history of pogroms and elimination attempts. A bland name of inclusion is to be substituted. How grand!!
At least you will be spared the anguish of watching from above as your poster is shredded as “an act of resistance” against the “Zionist Imperialist Territories”. You see, we must be careful, in this topsy-turvy world to have sympathy and understanding for the murderers, take into account their deep-seated need for reassurance and guarantees of safety, no consequences for vitriolic hate speech and hate crimes. Can you not feel their pain?! "The Students for Justice in Palestine chapter finds it “triggering” to actually see posters of its victims and complains that they “delegitimize” Hamas. It’s traumatic for Hamas supporters to see their terrorist organization cast in a bad light for kidnapping kids." Even the president of Columbia University has recognized the need and reassures the animals of their concern and safety. Oh, for sure, dear Anne, your death at 15, naked, starving, freezing and burning up with the fever of typhus, is of little importance anymore.
The need of the world to be reassured they have no fault in this matter are so gracefully addressed by Obama. "If you want to solve the problem, then you have to take in the whole truth," Obama said. "And you then have to admit nobody’s hands are clean, that all of us are complicit to some degree." That phrase - all of us - is code talk for "fault of Israelis" who obviously were exercising cooperation by employing Palestinians from Gaza, invited them into homes, where information gathered increased the amazing efficiency of these animals, these 'militants' on their 'raid' into these very homes, smoothing the way to destroy their terrifying enemy - infants, toddlers, children, frightened Thai farmworkers, grandparents, handicapped, young and old, all apparently guilty, complicit in a perverted desire to be Jews living on their own land, in peace with neighbors. How unrealistic. How selfish, such a big crime against humanity. Such nasty people!! So for sure, blame the victims, - why not - as it eases your conscience and Obama will back you up.
A New York kindergarten teacher has picked up the challenge to increase antisemitism at an early age, never too young to be taught the glories of hatred, so admirable a goal, and is oh so proud of her accomplishments.
People rage through the streets, threaten any and all Jews, anything that remotely reminds them of something Jewish. An older man was killed when attacked at a rally. But what the hey, only another Jew dead, for being a Jew in the wrong place at the wrong time. Should have known better, right, and is now complicit in his own murder. For sure.
There are words of hope and strength. There are reminders that we are all one, always, and troubles unite us, remind us that we share the same fate and if we do not remember so quickly, not to worry, for the world will take up the slack and do so. So considerate, correct? As for the Jews who have forgotten who they are, well, when the hammer falls on their heads, they will remember. Painfully, but there it is.
Mark Cuban has it down perfectly. It behooves us to read, internalize, think and get real. Denial is not a viable option.
“These are crazy times, but you know what, for Jews, it’s always at some level a crazy time.”
... the core understanding, and what I wanted to share, is that there’s always going to be people who hate us. Period. End of story. And there’s absolutely nothing we can do about it,” Cuban explained. “But our lives and who we are is not defined by who hates us. It’s defined by who loves us and who we love. Because from that, comes all our strength, comes all of our power.”
“There may only be 15 or 16 million of us in the whole world, but that love and that connection is stronger than anything anybody else can do,”
People, if we forget the truth, that we are ONE, perforce, like it or not, for sure there will be reminders and the outcome - not so good.
Only together, only and always together.
That is the only way to go forward.
Let us heal ourselves, heal the nation, heal the world.
And remember Pray for Yitzy.
Yitzchak Elimelech ben Chana Sarah.
We are awaiting most crucial, critical results, a world hanging on it. Remember this young boy, so brave, so sweet, so deserving of the best. Keep him always in your prayers and in your heart and soul.
WE THANK YOU.
Amen, Amen
