FOR PETE'S SAKE!

     Yes, I have named this article in honor of a Sheffield man who seems to know it all and has now stepped up his role as a shill for David Israel. Our modern day Neros continue to fiddle while our Village burns.
     David Israel has made his choice. He is going with the big bluster approach. He has gotten his shill to write a bunch of numbers, calling a shortfall not really one, just a shortfall of reserve money. Really? And when this money is needed to pay bills will it then be allowed to grow up and change its name to "real shortfall"? This is ridiculous. Reserves are there for a purpose. Reserves are there because they are legally required. Reserves are there because we, the residents of CV, have dutifully paid in our financial requirements and it was up to David Israel as President of UCO to insure they were there where they were supposed to be - AND HE FAILED IN HIS FIDUCIARY RESPONSIBILITIES - BADLY!
     So there is no shortfall, huh? So in the middle of the figures that so suddenly appeared in the shill's purview, we find a line - The estimated underfunded reserve at December 31, 2014 is expected to be $1, 152,561.
     Should I repeat that? OK, I will.

     Calling the sky black does not mean it is not blue. Calling a shortfall by another name does not unmake its financial liability as a shortfall - over one million dollars, just as we have stated again and again and again and again....etc.
     But wait, there's more (there's that knife commercial again!) David Israel, as usual, has decided that he had better admit to what is clearly there and just call it a different name even though we are going to have to pay up to make up this shortfall. and guess what? He has found a new scapegoat! Oh, yes! and this is a doozy and you know what, I am going to have to agree with him for a tiny bit.
     David Israel refuses, always, to take personal responsibility for anything that has happened during his awful tenure at UCO. It is never his fault. It was his alter ego who moved funds with Ed Black. It was his other alter ego who signed checks with him (Bob Marshall). and now - it is those awful delegates who have voted us into shortfall and financial hell.
     Sadly, he is very right in one way. Over and over again the delegates have blindly followed David Israel over the cliff, into the sea, wherever he took them, they went, unseeing of the danger ahead. Like mere tiny tots they did not question, they did not stand up to him except for the few who took his insults and threats and brushed them off. And yes, over a hundred delegates realized that David Israel had to go and voted for this newcomer who came out of nowhere, who had a message of warning and a program of
process and procedure and plans to stabilize our finances. But the rest of the mothball fleet, yes, you who are still blindly following him right down the deep hole of financial doom and way high UCO fees, yes, you have unthinkingly just voted the way David Israel has told you to. These numbers that he is now throwing around were the small print that you did not read because you left your reading glasses at home along with your thinking caps.
And you voted again and again  for whatever David Israel wanted.
     Once or twice you stood up to him but backed down again under threats and intimidation and sheer lack of energy so here we are with a man who thinks he is president for life, a man who, along with his buddies, has shredded our financial safety and all you do is boo on cue as Not so Amazing Grace and Betty Boop and Pompous Lanny and the rest of that crew, and yes, you too ,Pete, and shout down the very people who are trying to help all of us.
     But still, the blame filters UP to David Israel and crew. He has brought us to the shortfall that no matter what name he calls it, no matter how he tries to disguise it by throwing it in the middle of a bunch of numbers that turn people's eyes into spinning saucers - DOES EXIST. Here it is again -

    Read it and weep for us all. Mad David has struck yet again! Please, for the sake of us all, put this man and his evil machinations aside and listen to what the truth is and vote against David's proposals of increases. Do not hear his lies. Do not heed his lies. See them for what they are.
