QUESTIONS FOR WPRF, EVA AND EVEN DAVID ISRAEL

Since David Israel seems to be pushing items from Pembroke Pines and their website, let us take a look at some of the items there. First of all, it is a much better organized site with lots of boxes to click for specific items and as far as the ads go, they are not blatant at all. Now should we ever get a true Village blog here, not one that belongs solely to David Israel and his motley crew, then the Pembroke Pines one is not a bad way to go at all.
What I did find are some interesting items and I do love their wall of shame, what with head out parking, business vehicles spotlighted, etc., it shows pride of ownership. I also loved the fact that it is stated that an apartment must be owner occupied for two years before rental is allowed. Wow, but that would hit some people here hard, including Bob Marshall (still looking for that lightning bolt) and Ed Black and others who own multiple units, buying them specifically for rental purposes. It would certainly induce a tighter control over units and definitely more pride of ownership with fewer absentee owners and the hotel rentals that are going on would stop.
What is even more interesting are the prices advertised for the shows this season. ALL tickets are marked as $9. Yup, $9.00 and the Duprees and the Bronx Wanderers are not marked up to $14 as they are here and that is before our prices go up and one has to pay $11 per ticket and $15 for those two shows, There is also an interesting bargain offered should one buy a certain amount of tickets, 30, I believe and then prices go to $7. So Eva and David Israel and the entire Operations committee - why the hell are we getting screwed on the ticket prices here? IS it because we have ceded so much control to WPRF or that this is part of the screwing over we got in the Millennium Agreement? In any case, I believe we deserve an answer and ASAP at that!
Should be interesting to find out how else we are getting the short end of the stick should we compare all the information. This should never have been allowed to happen and falls right into the same category as do many other problems here in our Village - the laxness of our UCO leaders and officers and their lack of management skills. Sure, David, go ahead and tap tap tap some more - keeps you busy - and us here in the Village in lots of trouble.
