I am happy to see that David Israel has acknowledged and taken responsibility for misstating the issue of the budget year and the fiscal year. Perhaps he is learning that responsibility, once accepted upon one's shoulders, is the proper way to go. Now if we could only get this to continue such as with the road job and extend into the future with this ridiculous Wi Fi proposal at this time and even simply for the mostly do nothing record of UCO under his presidency.
I also see that he has begun to think of the next election and his possible opponents, or opponents of more of his little controlled dummies and has allowed that weasel, Mike, to post a nasty statement with nothing behind it, after it or with it, about a person that David Israel does not like. However, a question arises, if we use the term "dead wood" then perhaps one had better be prepared for it to backfire. For example - let us name some dead wood in the present administration - Phyllis Siegelman with nothing to report, Pat Sealander, also with nothing ever to report, Bob Marshall who is so happy that his lightning bolt has finally struck and all the rest of the blather that goes on in committees while nothing, in a practical manner, ever gets done. Ever see the fence by Southampton? Ah, that's right. It never was built - nothing was ever built and now they are talking about cameras. C'mon. With better organization we could have foreseen the issues there and been prepared for them and some kind of additional protection could have been erected by now.
Listen carefully about and to all proposed items. There are times that thinking must be done before approving or disapproving of an item. If I had not gone home and thought about this whole budget and fiscal year and David's chortling and his misuse of the paragraph about fiscal year, and then written about it,what would he have done then? Nothing, and simply gone on in his path of trying to pull one over our eyes. He was just that much too happy in that committee meeting where he first pushed it, thinking he had gone and done it again. I am just wondering about his motivation?
