Do we all remember the poltergeists living within the walls of our homes? Amazing it truly was to see how determined they were, moving homes with us, and the growing sophistication of their deeds. As for their physical manifestations, well they ranged from raging elephants to galloping giraffes to annoying brothers. Just amazing.
Well, have I got news for you. Seems that when we were not paying attention, they all picked up, lock, stock and barrel, and moved into the homes of the nation's leaders and what fun they had indeed. As for consequences, what was that? None, you say. Oh. Who can actually find a poltergeist, let alone find the reeking trail of its misdeeds?
Thus the miracle happened and how much damage have we caused and accepted? What have we taught our children? That it is okay if one is not caught? That personal gain trumps the needs of that nation? That it is just fine if the very president who swore an oath to protect and defend that same nation becomes its greatest traitor?
Folks, our national crisis is not over. IN FACT, IT HAS WORSENED BEYOND ALL EXPECTATIONS. So much for getting away with it all. And more to follow. Much, much more. See, consequences matter, be they visible or not. Ours are coming due.
