HABAITAH, HOME, HABAYTA

No matter how one spells it or pronounces it, in   Language or in individual concept, it  bears the same heartbreak and love, resilience and determination. It is something that people round the world cling to, with fierce emotions and decisions. It is a place where one is welcomed, taken in and loved and supported, no matter where they originated. In fact, whatever the point of origin, the point of Habayta remains the same.

For thousands of years people have been exiled, ousted from their homes, national and/or personal, and to which they yearned to return. Be it an ancient exile or of more modern times, of one nation or another, that sentiment, that drive, remains an integral part of the national creed, the national fabric of their lives, their beliefs. No matter how weak it might become it will always remain there awaiting an awakening and strengthening and a successful way to find the way back to that original home.

No matter how far, no matter how impossible it seems, it can and will happen. History tells us so. Be it the nations of Eastern Europe, nations that were “squashed” together in answer to political problems only to discover that more problems arose from the desire for each nation, for each nationality, to have its specific home. The deeper this desire goes, the more truthful it is, the more violent it can be and yet the more necessary to keep the belief strong and ever more ready to be resurrected in its full glory.

Take the current situation and even go back in time and follow the threads of a constant recurring of exile, a longing to return, and an everlasting tie of body and soul to that home.  Always a presence there, always strong ties to, and ever ongoing efforts to regain that home, rejuvenate it, allow it.

To make it very clear. This is not a recreation but a continuation of our presence and deep-rooted ties in and with this homeland-The State of Israel - a direct descendant from Avraham Avinu and his very first purchase of land in which to bury his wife, Sarah. We are. We come home. We are continuously returning home. We have been here, living here through the centuries, and will remain at home time and time again. It has never been lost to us, even as it is denied by so many deluded and hate filled people, even amongst our own People.

Apparently until such time when truth will ring loud and clear and the veils of hate and resistance to truth will crumble, we will continue to have difficult times. As needed, as often and as strongly as we must, even if G-d forbid it seems that history is returning, turning on us, and a very real possibility that the nation will fall yet again, always and forever, we and those with us, know the truth, recognize it and fight for it. And we will continue to do so until the truth - Israel, be it with a human King, or as a democracy, is accepted as the Words of Truth from the One Above who determines the fate of all.

It has been so in much of Yesterday.

The lies and hate continue Today.

But we continue to trust in the Tomorrows to come.

The people of Israel,

 The nation of Israel

Will outlive and defeat all who desire our demise.

So, it has been and so it will always be until the final say reaches us from Above.

AM YISROEL CHAI.

THE NATION OF ISRAEL LIVES.

LANETZACH

FOREVER.

WE ARE HOME!

HABAYTA!
