As I have stated often before, there are many comparisons to be made between the Village and the outside world. Yesterday was a day that teemed with these comparisons and lent itself to a great deal of thinking.
To work in the elections is a privilege. It awes me sometimes to think that a nobody like me is entitled to and granted the right to supervise elections, from local to nationwide, in my own little sphere. It amazes me that I am trusted to do this work right and to ensure to the best of my ability that all is done properly with no intimidation or secret processes other than the right to privacy for the voter.
And therein lies the immediate comparison to the Village, much to the detriment of the Village. In our elections there is a great deal of secrecy, of not letting people know what is going on, a lack of assurance of both privacy and transparency. If I tried to skew elections in the Clubhouse yesterday it would have been very difficult and nigh on to impossible. Everything is out in the open; there are double checks and triple checks, poll watchers, people moving about going about their business and yet think of our own Village elections.
In CV there is both no privacy and no transparency. Certain people are constantly looking over people's shoulders, seeing what they are doing, how they are voting. People are carrying ballots around without a partner of the opposing party or candidate and tallyers are not via machine, but by hand and then told not to tally final figures as "someone else will do that". Rules and regulations are not enforced or even purposefully broken, all in the name of insuring victory to the chosen few.
As opposed to that, the elections yesterday were bound by rules to ensure fairness and impartiality. NOTHING was done alone. No one was intimidated or checked to see how one was voting. Seats were provided for those who needed them and all was done to make sure the voters felt comfortable, private, yet near to any help that they needed with no threats or tit for tat demanded. Too bad we cannot say the same for our own elections here when pre time voters were allowed in, incorrect voters were allowed, sole people with biased viewpoints had control of ballots, and the balloting itself was COMPLETELY UNOBSERVED by neutral or opposing parties.
Another thought that came to mind was the population that showed up to vote. First of all, there was an amazing turnout. Each precinct had great working crews and all worked very hard in the onslaught of the voters and dealt with any issues with calm and good humor. But even more important was the population that showed up. I have been working elections for quite some time here in the Village and this election was the most varied in terms of ethnicities and especially ages. The ethnicities is simply a sign of changing and diversifying populations and that was fine, but what was most concerning was the large and growing number of underage CV people who came to vote - HERE WHERE THEY LIVE. Why were 30 year old people voting here? Why are they living here? We saw couples, married and not, single people, and so many under the age of 55 and not even close to it. Obviously, they had either bought or rented and were allowed to do so despite the fact that this is a 55+ community, a SENIOR community. If we are not careful, we will lose that designation and be required to pay regular taxes to which we are exempt and face other issues. Pembroke Pines CV already has had loss of that in many buildings and for sure we do not want that to happen here.
What should be happening is that UCO should be coming up with plans, with possibilities to stop this, with ideas, with pathways to insuring that we remain what we all came here for - a senior 55+ community, for if we had wanted a full service or mixed community we would have bought there in the first place!!! UCO should not be fooling around with foolish and expensive Wi Fi plans that will further insure our financial debacle. They should not be fiddling with plans that might even encourage MORE underage residents to come here and that would be a disaster in more ways than one. UCO has its sights set on the wrong targets and why? Because it all comes from the heads of David Israel, Ed Black and related henchmen.
It is that twisted viewpoint and dangerously wrong thinking that stems from the head, that allows people to spew filth and hatred, calling people "low class Jews", to encourage prejudice in the Village, to favor small loyal and truly bought followers, like the parasites that leech onto big predators of the animal world.
So, people, where are we going from here? Some of my candidates and wishes were successful and some not and I can live with it because I know to the best of my ability it was done properly, impartially and fairly. I know that the issues were discussed, well publicized and nothing held back. But I cannot say the same for here. Here, we have secrecy and lies. Here we have blockages of rights. Here we have nefarious plans to maintain power in the hands of a new oligarchy, a new aristocracy that subscribes to the political theories of fascists and dictators. Here we have Constitutions and Amendments being rewritten in secret and in haste and without public explanation, especially with sufficient explanation, presentation and time to think. Here, it is all WRONG!!! Here, all is a lie.
So we must ring out the warning bells and hope that enough people hear, listen and act. So many people approached me yesterday and asked me if I were planning another go at the seat of the President of UCO and my answer - it is a long time away. Truthfully, I am tired of the garbage going on here, tired of the filth and the curses, tired of the sneakiness and nastiness, tired of the stupidity. Truthfully, there would have to be some great times of thinking, of advising, of shows of support in order to get me to do this once again. But that does not mean that there is any decision and nor does it mean that there are not other positions to be had.
Time will tell but we are running out of time on other issues such as the rewriting of the Articles, of the horrendous Wi Fi issue, of the crappy roads and walkways, or the wastage of so much of our money and of the secrecy of this administration, of the power seized and been given in cases to non elected officials and of the same people on every committee, every media organ of the Village to the exclusion of all else. People, this is what we can act on now. This is what we need to do NOW.

WHAT A QUAINT IDEA!
Today is Election Day. Here in the Clubhouse and at Anshe Shalom the Village votes on politics of the world outside. We have all gotten the telephone calls, the repeated political mail, have read articles, seen the ads on TV, even perhaps have met some of the candidates and wow! might even have seen and listened to a debate. What a quaint idea!
In fact, all of these things listed above are deemed quaint, useless, out of date, not important, or perhaps too dangerous to allow the average voter to have access to the information dispensed - and where does this viewpoint exist? Why right here in our Village, our home, right here in the good old USA!! And who has deemed this the rule of the day here in CV? Why, good old David Israel, good old Ed Black, good old Marilyn Gorodetzer. Just ask David Israel to debate an opponent and watch him turn even paler, with the sweat beading on his forehead at the mere thought of such a thing.
All of their work is done in secret, like the Star Chambers of old, when people were convicted and executed in secret. All here in the Village is done in secret. Nothing happens and then suddenly there is a posting on the other blog by Barbara Cornish just overflowing with "gratitude" to Ed Black for the most wonderful security contract. Really? I know we were looking at contracts but were any details published? Were comparisons of the contract made public? Did the information, rules, obligations, costs specifications - ANYTHING - get publicized and laid open for public viewing and comments? The answer is a resounding NO, for never is anything made public here. Never is anything done in the open. Never is the apparent great "unwashed" masses of the Village allowed any insight into the innards of UCO and just what the hell makes one contract better than the other and this is done with nigh onto everything. When something finally gets aired, we are told how wonderful it is and how hard "our" UCO has worked on achieving this wonder of modern times - all for us! Uh huh!
Right! And who wants to buy the Tunnel? Who wants to buy the Bridge? But we are tired of buying the garbage that has been the standard output of this UCO. Today we are going to vote, a privilege and responsibility. We are going to vote after having had the opportunity and privilege of being informed to the degree we chose. We do not have that opportunity, that right, here in the Village and what do we get? We get contracts such as the paving with M&M - wow, that was a great deal for us - NOT! We get a supposed wonderful Wi Fi contract proposal and with whom - the same company that messed up major in Boca CV and we are so lucky that David Israel et al have decided to bestow their substandard work and capabilities on us. How sweet! How kind! How thoughtless! And we continue along that line with the sudden sneaky plans of rewriting OUR constitution, the Articles of Incorporation, and its Amendments - the bylaws.
More of this garbage is waiting for us unless we stand up and vote no on items flipped at us as if we are dogs waiting for a bone, a treat from the leftovers. Speak up and demand publicity. Demand time to get to know facts and time to think. Demand Town Halls here in the Village and demand answers and reasons and explanations and cost analyses and anything else you want.

We are malcontents for the Village, for the situation we are in, for the rights we are deprived of, as if we lived in a dictatorial country - oh, right - we do, right here in CV in Palm Beach County, Florida, USA. DEMAND TO KNOW WHY THEY ARE HOLDING THIS MEETING AT A TIME WHEN THE UCO BUILDING IS CLOSED.

THE CONSTITUTION OF CENTURY VILLAGE
Every political entity must have a constitution, be it a synagogue, a social organization, a city or even a Century Village. As such, our constitution is the Articles of Incorporation. That is how our Village is structured, how it is meant to function. The by laws are almost like the Amendments to the Constitution. It changes and updates, but NOTE that all changes are done IN THE OPEN. They are debated and discussed for quite some time and the individual states must then have its own referendums and votes and decide to approve or not. It is a long process and must be upheld or else the changes will not happen nor be legal.
That is not what is happening here. Imagine if overnight we woke up to find that the President of the USA made himself into the dictator of the country. Imagine if the President of the USA behaved as Putin of Russia is doing and setting up an oligarchy, a ruling class of buddies, pals, sycophants and crooks, amoral people with only their wallets and egos deemed to be important. There would be an uproar, civil violence and ultimately it simply would not fly.
Well, now look at our situation. We have a President of UCO who has singlehandedly decided to change the Constitution of Century Village. To do this, he has used henchmen, in particular, Marilyn Gorodetzer, to rewrite the constitution without any input from others - okay, probably Ed Black was in the mix too - and then sprang it upon the so called committee who themselves were shocked at the negation of the process we are supposed to have. The reading of these changes were done in such a way so that no word would get out, especially with details. No copies were allowed - EYES ONLY - and the reading was esoteric - NSA style.
Within these changes, David Israel, who had already overturned our democracy with a negation of our term limits, contrary to the growing rule in politics all over the world, now decided that he had to be acknowledged as the dictator, the ruler, of CV, with his personal address as the official address for official mail for CV. What happened to UCO, you know, that building at the Okeechobee gate??!!!!
What happened to designating the president - whomever that might be - as the agent, not David Israel. Are we never to have another president until he dies or is carried off? Is he going to appoint a successor, another person who has not been elected to UCO, and thus continue this dictatorial reign, this new constitution of the Village, this overthrow and destruction of all that CV was and is supposed to be?
This will happen. This is happening right now. Why - because people are too frightened of the man. People are kept in the dark. People are ignorant - willingly or not - of the nefarious true goals and aims of this man and his crew.
How is it that one nasty person, non elected, Marilyn Gorodetzer, is allowed to draw up the blueprints of our future? How is it that a non elected official is allowed to be the chairman of about 5 or 6 committees, including some very important ones? How is it that only the hand chosen, the members of a new oligarchy here in the Village are allowed to participate in UCO? How is it that volunteers are either known to be loyal to David Israel or are bought into the program and anyone else is locked out? How is it that we have gotten into this situation and how do we get out?
How do we know that this is the plan? Because it is happening right now in his secret meetings. It is happening in the onslaught of lies about the Wi Fi program. It is happening in the crazy and confusing reports of the budget wherein no one seems to know how much more we will truly be paying over the next year. It is happening in the oh so sweet meetings set up with David Israel wherein he evinces such concern, expresses this to the presidents called in, and replete with lies - and when they are over, he reverts back to the tap tapper he is. Just what is he doing there all day on Sunday?
And why does this man not condemn the hateful spewings of prejudice and hatred that pour forth from the mouths and computers of his followers? Why? Because it all flows from the top. Either condemn or be known to condone and he has not condemned. So I and some others are called "low class Jews", are called bags of shit, are told that we are guilty of horrendous crimes, and are threatened with bodily harm and expulsion from the Village.
People of the Village. I got into this a year go when I could not tolerate the shenanigans any longer, when I knew I had to step up, when I realized that I had to do more. Personally, I could care less who is elected, who has what position if I knew that they had the betterment of the Village and its residents at heart. So, sorry, Gracie, your constant litany of telling me I won't get elected ever to anything or that I am a sore loser - G-d, will you ever grow up? - they are drivel to my ears. What we need are honest, caring and earnest people who know how to work with a consensus, who know process and procedure, who know prioritizing, whose egos are not rampant and foremost, who have no desire to take over anyplace and become dictators, who have no interest in establishing a crooked aristocracy.
So, people of the Village - step up to the plate. Insure that you OPT OUT of Wi Fi, that you vote NO NO NO on any changes to the Articles, our Constitution, and any changes in the bylaws, before you know exactly what the ramifications are. Demand many Town Halls and freedom to question, to ask, to understand and to say NO. We, the residents of the Village are the ones who run the Village. The public servants who work in UCO are just that and if they do not understand that fact then let them get out, quit, be thrown out of office, resign, be recalled, move away, anything - but leave us alone to run things the way they should be and let us have the future we deserve.

Jewish actress Maureen Lipman scorns Miliband over Palestine vote

One of Britain’s most popular actresses and comediennes, Maureen Lipman, has told opposition leader Ed Miliband that after five decades of being a socialist and voting for the Labor Party, she will no longer support his party “until it is once more led by mensches.”
In an article for Standpoint magazine, Lipman launched a strongly worded and typically humorous attack on the increasingly hapless Labor leader, citing a number of what she suggested were inexcusable ‘faux pas’ for withholding her vote in next May’s general election.
Miliband, Lipman said, “comes from a family of secular Jews, but his need for union approval is much greater than his need for Jewish support.” Noting that Jews make less than 1% of the UK population, she pondered, “Why should we care if we vote for him or not?” Answering her rhetorical question, she disclosed that at a recent gathering Miliband asked her whether she was a “practising Jew.” Lipman said she replied that she was “constantly practising, but seldom achieving,” before adding that she did “her best.”
The Labor leader then enquired whether she “did Shabbat dinners.” Lipman told him she did when she could and followed it up with an invitation to join her. Having expressed “enthusiasm to learn more about their religion” both sides agreed to let their assistants arrange a mutually convenient date.
But, Lipman noted, “Two days later, he was all over the papers knocking back a bacon sandwich” and while she accepted there was “nothing intrinsically wrong with a secular Jew chomping a thinly sliced pan-fried pig rump,” that was “his choice.”
That issue aside, she revealed she had delayed sending an invitation to Miliband, because since then he had got “something else between his teeth” – Israel.
“Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse,” Lipman noted, anti-Semitism was “mounting savagely” across several countries in Europe. “Just when cemeteries, synagogues, and shops were once again under threat” and when “virulence against a country defending itself against 4,000 rockets and 32 tunnels inside its borders, in steps Mr. Miliband to demand that the government recognize the “State of Palestine” alongside the State of Israel.”
She catalogued the inevitable reaction to the vote as “applause from the unions, smiles of approbation from the far Left, and shock and horror from the Jewish Board of Deputies” and asked, why did he do this and why now? MUSINGS OF CV - SURFACE AND UNDERBELLY
So, woke up this morning curled up under the blanket and it was freezing! We had left all the windows open and while it was delicious for sleeping, it was less so for walking around. Think my toes froze when they hit the floor barefoot! But these are the nights that I love, with no AC, cool enough to enjoy a blanket and some solid hours of sleep.
It was a bonus after attending a truly enjoyable show last nite at the clubhouse, with Neil Zirconia doing a great job. He has great audience charisma, sounds just like the real thing and too bad every seat was not filled. If you did not attend - your loss and make sure to buy seats if he returns next year. His show was different than last year's but still included some standards that are a must.
But while sitting there, singing and clapping, I looked around and saw many people I knew and many I did not, but what I did not see were people from UCO. Perhaps I missed one or two but I NEVER see David Israel or Ed Black or any of these so called big shots at a Clubhouse show. Why is that? Why do these people NEVER ever mix with the residents of the Village unless there as an advantage to it for them? Sure, they will be at the newbies meeting, for there they can present their one sided intros to the Village and they will set up oh so friendly meetings with the various presidents as David Israel puts on his sheep in a wolf's clothing smile and talks ever so sweet to the people, as if he cared, when his only motive is to push his agenda. Otherwise, there would be more contact during the rest of the year. But there is not, for he sits like Ursula, crouched in his chair and tap tap tapping away all day long, Sundays included, no life, and thus no understanding what it is that is truly needed here. Hey, David, if you want a project, go look into the new solar e trees that Israeli innovation has created. That is far more advantageous to the Village then this proposed Wi Fi which will be security dangerous, user unfriendly as it will be overwhelmed with usage at peak times and completely unnecessary as there are so much less costly options. But why bother with other ideas, right? Keep your blinder blocked viewpoint as usual. Learn to be open to new and positive ideas and even if not good for now, or we need time to investigate - we MUST NOT RUSH INTO ANYTHING. The technology and ideas are flowing, changing and we need not commit ourselves to a minimum of one to two million dollars and ugly infrastructure and noise and dust and who knows how many years till completion when the alternatives and better ways are there. Sometimes waiting is the prudent thing to do.
Jangor, a resident who commented on other blogs, asked is there not anything positive about the Village? The answer is resoundingly yes!!!! There is much that is positive about living here. I love it here and only want to insure that it remains a wonderful and viable place where one can live and enjoy life without worrying about crazy hikes in fees, crazy and narcissistic people at the helm, and anything else that will ruin our way of life here. I believe that we need to remind people that we are living in the USA and have not ceded our rights simply because we are in this gated community. If one does not care about a place, then one does not invest hours of time, money, energy, etc. in an effort to keep it so and to save it from the likes of what we now have in office, who achieved that office by using stealth, the deficits of some people, and sheer nastiness.
But then again, what do I know, for according to the David Israel camp I am just a "low class Jew" out to steal and rob, salivating after your money. That, Mr. Jangor, whoever you are, is what we now have at the helm - a group of hate mongers, hate purveyors, sneaks and liars. They condone such viewpoints and language and have never condemned it.
We have managed to survive despite these people and will continue to endeavor that we keep on, but how much easier, more pleasant would it be if thinking people such as you, would delve beneath the surface and see the truth. It is not a pleasant position to be in, to present the truth, to present the ugly underbelly of things, but such is the task we "malcontents" have taken on. For our benefit? Yes, for we will benefit along with the residents of which we are too. We will not benefit in any other way and truthfully, would love to sink back into anonymity and enjoy life at the pool, reading books, going to clubs, etc and for others to run UCO - as long as they are honest and caring of and for the residents.
But at present we cannot sink into anonymity for now there is a truly nasty plan to totally overthrow the structure of the Village with a sneak attack on our Articles of Incorporation and our by-laws. These changes that are proposed, and proposed in the dark, in secret, with three people making them up - all three nasty, nasty dudes - will kill our way of life here and that is their motive. Mr. Jangor, we ask that you and all thinking people understand what is truly going on here. Contact us, as Olga suggested and sit over a cup of coffee, a cup of cocoa! or soda or whatever, and listen to the truth.

ANTI SEMITISM HERE IN THE VILLAGE. READ ON AND WEEP
It is with a sad hand and heart that I write this posting. I am used to the filth and curses that come my way from David Israel's acolytes and perhaps even himself, and mostly they cause me to laugh. The stupidity of Gracie's postings are annoying, but not much can be done with a limited intellectual ability. For example, the "warning" she made such a fuss about is a standard thing that pops up on many sites, including, for example, my brokerage account's site and I know that it is safe. It is just one of the kinks of the Internet and technology and shame on David Israel, the supposed techie guru of the Village for either not knowing this or worse, knowing it and then exacerbating the situation, but then again, that is what he does, isn't it?
I have written often about the prejudice that arises here in the Village, the open hatred and play on nasty feelings. As far as I am personally concerned, they started with the nastiness to George Lowenstein during his campaign, continued into mine when David Israel disgustingly tried to raise the fears of a "takeover" by Jews in the Village - real nasty, that was - and then into the present. Over and over we have heard and seen comments from the David Israel camp condemning people who live differently, who believe differently or observe differently. If it does not meet his standard of what is the "right" way, then it is wrong and therefore eligible to be hated. Time and time again he has been asked to condemn statements made by his supporters but it is like speaking to a wall. His hatred, perhaps self hatred of his own lineage, is too strong.
I have written much lately of the growing anti Semitism in the world and the fear that it is showing up here, in our country. Read my article Ketchupgate from a couple of days ago. But even more sad, is what came my way yesterday from one of the most prolific writers of David Israel's camp. Over the life of the blog I have been threatened with being blown up by fireworks, accused of crimes, but yesterday was beyond the Pale and perhaps shows the true inner black heart of that camp of people - and I question that term, people. Here is a piece of the comment directed my way - and another name was included, but why include it and hurt that person, especially when that person has been informed.
Here it is: "Hey Aunt Esther. People don't like CV because of low class Jews like you and -------who scream and yell, steal salt and sugar shakers from restaurants, and always complain about money....."
This is hate speech; make no bones about it and perhaps it is time to call in ADL and/or Captain Bruckner or even the Sheriff. Shall we count the ways this a-hole has invoked hatred of Jews, raised old and vicious canards, stereotypes about Jewish people. I think not, as it is quite clear. And by the way, want me to publicize your IP address again, you moron?
What I would like to see, what would be right, what would be courageous, would be for David Israel to publically condemn this language and these sentiments that come from his camp of suckups. But he will never do it for I believe he foments this type of language and behavior by his own behavior and statements on and off his blog over the years.
THIS is what we want as the leader of UCO? THIS is what we want for our future? THIS is what we wish to grow in the dank and dirty corners of the Village and the minds of dank and dirty people? The choice is yours, folks. You need to speak up and out. Remember the statement made by a Pastor in Nazi Germany basically outlining how he stayed quiet because it was not his group that was being taken, but his time came and then there was no one left to speak for him. NOONE is immune to hate. No one is immune to nastiness. ALL need to speak up for it will grow and touch you as well.

It is a well known fact that when a person lies and believes that he can get away with it, that person will do it again and again. Nobody believes a liar. For instance, if you lie to the police, even once, they will
forever never believe a single thing that you say. Everybody hates a liar.
Look what Israel did to the reputation of 1st Priority and all of their people because he lied. Look what he did to the reputation of Dan Gladstone due to Israel's lies. David Israel lies and he lies about every-
thing......a pathological liar. Or, in Century Town language.....".a muffled fart."
Take a look at the roadway and sidewalk paving. He lied through his teeth over and over again to the people. Yet, HE GOT AWAY WITH IT. Why? Because if you didn't agree with his lies, he and his back room control monger would threaten you with numerous scary tactics that were, in fact, well-
versed fantasies.
Don't all of his handful of followers know that he lies? Of course they do or they would be pretty stupid,or on heavy mind-altering drugs. So, why do they do nothing? The answer to that question is quite
simple. Israel gave them all positions that these followers love and enjoy. But, they walk a very thin line in that if they do or say anything that rubs Israel the wrong way, or Israel gets paranoid and suspicious about what is being said that he deems harmful to his egotistical character, --- then that
person is gone, --- like replaced with someone who pledges allegiance to Israel and his philosophy of how to lie and cheat.
It is the same way in all dictatorship countries. You cross his Lordship and you die. And every day that goes by, Israel brings in more clouds, more lies. Try this on......"Hey, Barbara, the sky is falling."
She might reply "David, I don't think that that is possible, except in fairy tales." And then he might say
"You agree with me and I'll make you the Chairperson of the Bid Committee." "Okay, the sky is falling,
David --- I want to be the Boss Lady." "Alright and I won't call you a toxic tart anymore, but if you criticize a single thing that I say or do, you'll be gone and I'll create more nasty names to address you in public."

Things won't change in the Village so long as there is a liar at the helm and followers who live for the positions granted to them by Israel, and their agreeing not to question the lies. So, those followers become liars also, by omission. The thinking in this Village appears to be, "Okay, so he lies. Big deal,so long as they're not big lies." That is just the point, -- they ARE big lies, and since he gets away with it, these lies get BIGGER and B I G G E R. The biggest continuous set of lies was by Israel and Black involving the five million dollar paving scam. They got away with it......BUT, MAYBE NOT......
MAYBE WE'RE GOING TO NAIL THESE LIARS.
The question is --- when will the people wake up?
When will they stop and assess what is happening around them?
When will they realize that lies are tearing apart all that is supposed to be sacred in Century Town.
Yes, we are an unincorporated, one square mile Town. Enough is enough, --- band together and get Israel the hell out of office so that we can bring back the word "HONESTY" to our Town of about 14,000 residents.
Oh, by the way, --- go outside of Century Town and you'll find out that most everybody hates us because of the way this place is governed. It reeks; it stinks. The only people that like us are the politicians running for office because we can provide an awful lot of votes. With no votes, they'd put amatch to the place. So, we've got to get the LIAR of LIARS out of office so that we can get back to a respectable image. I remember when the Village people used to talk to one another with a gentle smile. Now, you need to look over each shoulder before you say anything and then growl as you whisper. YOU and YOU and YOU and ALL OF US can get it all back with a new government.

WELCOME TO THE NSA - CV STYLE. SHHHH- THEY WILL HEAR YOU!
Do you hear the whisperings in the air? Do you hear the sneaky plans they are making? Do you hear your rights as a resident of CV going down the toilet - whoosh! There it goes. That and more will happen if we let the latest plan of David Israel, Marilyn Gorodetzer and Ed Black flourish and come to a successful conclusion.
For years we have been saying that we need to update our by laws. $30,000 was allotted to pay a lawyer for this, Mark Friedman being the lawyer. And then a big nothing, just double talk, evil grins from the dictator on lunacy row, but no practical suggestions, no statement of progress, just a big black hole of nothingness.
Little did we know, that Marilyn Gorodetzer, whom David Israel had appointed to run a "committee" on by laws had, in her usual evil manner, to write up a whole new bunch conferring with no one but herself and her two "boyfriends" or perhaps the better name would be "partners in the crime of ruining CV". It obviously went so well that they continued and suddenly, at a meeting, they sprang the new Articles of Incorporation on the members and there was not such a pleasant reception. Even many of David Israel's usual lackeys questioned why they had not been given the proper time and space for discussion. So, they agreed to do this in secret, but not so happy when even they were somewhat pushed aside.
These articles are the very heart and structure of the Village. David Israel wishes to change them and do so in secret so that he and his cohorts will be in perpetual power. He will change and align the by laws to mesh with this. Folks, it is truly as if we are living in a banana republic and David Israel has become our own Papa Doc!
There is a Sunshine Law here in Florida that states that unless there is something private that should not be exposed, something personal or between a lawyer and client, that ALL must be done in the open. Well, this did not happen and almost never truly happens here. Anyone at that meeting was practically chewed to pieces if they tried to take a copy, unlike other meetings when the handouts are passed around to all. Even a late arriving member of committee was jumped upon when they thought she was a guest and GASP! actually had a copy.
When there was some supposed discussion, it was run as a secret. Not a title, not a reading of the proposed change, not a comparison to the old articles, but a clueless - "look at page ----, line ----" and no one without a script could know what the hell was truly going on.
People, this proposed new Article will remove us from the protection of 718 and allow UCO to proceed as a dictating organ of government with power to make ALL contracts. Yes, ALL and that is clearly stated along with other dangerous changes. And how about where David Israel is named as representing agent WITH HIS ADDRESS AT GREENBRIAR C AS THE OFFICIAL HOME OR BASE OF OPERATIONS. What happened to the UCO building. Is that not the proper address? Well, not really, if all goes as planed, for then truly and openly, David Israel will become the crowned ruler and we all would have allowed this to happen by not doing anything, by not saying anything, by voting like dummies to approve it when he presents it at an assembly, by going along because we are too busy playing pickleball and swimming and we will have let the very Village be stolen from us right beneath our very own noses.
Quite frankly, this whole thing is illegal. Actually, changes are first supposed to be proposed and voted on by the DA before any work gets done on making changes. There is supposed to be a committee - and not of one or three. There is supposed to be a representation of the entire Village, not just David Israel's toilet cabinet.
It is up to all of us if we allow this travesty to continue. Stand up at the assembly next Friday and challenge. Speak to your delegates and tell them to vote NO NO NO on David Israel's wrongful, harmful, out of order requests. Better yet, call for his resignation and do not let them tell lies about the meeting for if one listens to it as taped honestly, one will even hear Pat Sealander complain that she thought there was going to be discussion. Even Pat Sealander amongst others, one of David Israel's oldest and most loyal suckups. This certainly should say something to all of us.
As the Bible says - time to gird your loins for the battle. David Israel can do nothing to you and his threats are empty. His statements are lunatic and paranoid, but he can ruin us all if allowed to proceed unchecked - and that result would be on all who stand there and do nothing.

And then a big nothing, just double talk, evil grins from the dictator on lunacy row, but no practical suggestions, no statement of progress, just a big black hole of nothingness.
Little did we know, that Marilyn Gorodetzer, whom David Israel had appointed to run a "committee" on by laws had, in her usual evil manner, to write up a whole new bunch conferring with no one but herself and her two "boyfriends" or perhaps the better name would be "partners in the crime of ruining CV". It obviously went so well that they continued and suddenly, at a meeting, they sprang the new Articles of Incorporation on the members and there was not such a pleasant reception. Even many of David Israel's usual lackeys questioned why they had not been given the proper time and space for discussion. So, they agreed to do this in secret, but not so happy when even they were somewhat pushed aside.
These articles are the very heart and structure of the Village. David Israel wishes to change them and do so in secret so that he and his cohorts will be in perpetual power. He will change and align the by laws to mesh with this. Folks, it is truly as if we are living in a banana republic and David Israel has become our own Papa Doc!
There is a Sunshine Law here in Florida that states that unless there is something private that should not be exposed, something personal or between a lawyer and client, that ALL must be done in the open. Well, this did not happen and almost never truly happens here. Anyone at that meeting was practically chewed to pieces if they tried to take a copy, unlike other meetings when the handouts are passed around to all. Even a late arriving member of committee was jumped upon when they thought she was a guest and GASP! actually had a copy.
When there was some supposed discussion, it was run as a secret. Not a title, not a reading of the proposed change, not a comparison to the old articles, but a clueless - "look at page ----, line ----" and no one without a script could know what the hell was truly going on.
People, this proposed new Article will remove us from the protection of 718 and allow UCO to proceed as a dictating organ of government with power to make ALL contracts. Yes, ALL and that is clearly stated along with other dangerous changes. And how about where David Israel is named as representing agent WITH HIS ADDRESS AT GREENBRIAR C AS THE OFFICIAL HOME OR BASE OF OPERATIONS. What happened to the UCO building. Is that not the proper address? Well, not really, if all goes as planed, for then truly and openly, David Israel will become the crowned ruler and we all would have allowed this to happen by not doing anything, by not saying anything, by voting like dummies to approve it when he presents it at an assembly, by going along because we are too busy playing pickleball and swimming and we will have let the very Village be stolen from us right beneath our very own noses.
Quite frankly, this whole thing is illegal. Actually, changes are first supposed to be proposed and voted on by the DA before any work gets done on making changes. There is supposed to be a committee - and not of one or three. There is supposed to be a representation of the entire Village, not just David Israel's toilet cabinet.
It is up to all of us if we allow this travesty to continue. Stand up at the assembly next Friday and challenge. Speak to your delegates and tell them to vote NO NO NO on David Israel's wrongful, harmful, out of order requests. Better yet, call for his resignation and do not let them tell lies about the meeting for if one listens to it as taped honestly, one will even hear Pat Sealander complain that she thought there was going to be discussion. Even Pat Sealander amongst others, one of David Israel's oldest and most loyal suckups. This certainly should say something to all of us.
As the Bible says - time to gird your loins for the battle. David Israel can do nothing to you and his threats are empty. His statements are lunatic and paranoid, but he can ruin us all if allowed to proceed unchecked - and that result would be on all who stand there and do nothing.

ANALYSIS OF OUR HOME - CV
After reading several articles in various places and the stress put on "summer people" as opposed or contrasted to "snowbirds", it hit me. That is what is wrong with the Village in a major way.
We have been encouraged to think of ourselves here as two distinct groups of people: those who live here all year round and those who live here on a lesser basis and even those are divided into snowbirds and snowflakes. But this is wrong. Many part timers turn into full timers as the years go on and we all must learn to think of CV as what it is - a year round permanent small town or large village where infrastructure of the most basic kind must be ensured before any enhancements are added and it all must be done with proper care and thought. There must be long term and short term plans for the Village and funding be set aside or planned for accordingly.
This can only be done if we realize that we are one , ONE unit, one place. The all year residents must realize that the part timers add something to the Village, have much to contribute and at times must be catered to in the sense of courts or clubs, but they must also remember that the year rounders also have needs and sometimes the mundane needs of better fencing for example has priority over another court and also a careful evaluation of projects.
What is even more wrong and off about the Village is the fact that we do a big project and then in 6 months or a year we suddenly have to fix or totally redo, be it the resident pool at the Clubhouse or another pool that springs a leak, or the parking lot at Hastings or even the whole paving job in the Village. Why is it that we are always caught on the short end of the stick having to pay for all this doing and redoing and there is no recourse to force the contractors to fix at their expense?
The answer is simple. Because the people in charge either do not care, or do not know how, or even worse - are getting something out of it - when they allow one page multi million dollar contracts to go thru without benefit of lawyer approval, with the signature on a BLANK page - yes, you read that right - and lack of details for the contracted job. There is no good process or procedure in place to insure proper contracts and completion of near perfect jobs.
What is needed is much more careful and knowledgeable oversight, even of WPRF. For example, why have I received dozens of calls complaining about the unhealthy situation of the porta potty at Hastings. It is vile, I was told. Anyone in that situation must call Eva Rachesky as she is in charge of that but actually why should it even happen? Why? Because the oversight is lax and a could care less about it attitude. It is not glamorous so why bother about it?
In school, when we wished to apply for a Blue Ribbon School or Middle States Accreditation, we had a massive evaluation of the school from soup to nuts - all members of the school community, the physical plant, the educational goals, achievements, supplies, long and short range plans, finances and on and on. That is what must be done here. The first project a new administration must take on is a massive self evaluation of the Village, the state of the Village, its future and short term needs and goals, its finances, short and long range, its physical needs, the priorities, etc., etc., etc. Perhaps we would even need an outside expert or guide in all this. But without doing this evaluation, without seeing how we meet, how we compromise, how we finance, how we set process and procedure at the head of the line - without all this we are going to be in a bad way. What is needed is more common sense and less grandiose pie in the sky personal projects.
What is needed is the reinstatement of term limits. Just today there was a report of riots in Burkina Faso in demand of term limits. Other municipalities are implementing them, including right here in Florida and all over the country and the world and what are we doing here? We are going backwards, cancelling our term limits and letting incompetency, selfishness, wastage of funding, stale old ideas and thought remain in place. We need to put term limits back in again and make sure they stay there. We need to cut this government by secrecy and let the light and air in. We need to step up, work hard and get rid of trash. and who will do this - ALL OF US OR IT WILL NEVER GET DONE! Once again, read and think and ponder where you fit in and where you can step in and help the Village, help us become ONE family.

THE FUTURE- WILL KETCHUP LEAD THE WAY?
Bet you thought this would be about the Village, but you would be incorrect on that. This is a far more important issue. The question here is - Will the USA go down the same miserable and hateful path of ugly anti Semitism? Will it be allowed to crawl out from the dark and dank corners and flex its claws and teeth, or will we stand up and defy the new outgrowth?
Once I would have thought yes, here in America there is too much of a difference from the Old World, the world of pogroms, of Holocausts, of Inquisitions, too much of a difference to allow people to shout for Jews to be gassed once more, to be killed, for the only country in the world that is a Jewish state to be called to be destroyed. And yet, this past week is very troubling.
Anti Semitism and the USA are not unknown to each other, but there has always been an acceptance that allowed us to flourish, to give to our country, to hope and pray for a future for our young and we thank the USA for that and have a prayer for that recited every Shabbat in synagogue. Roger Williams, Lord Baltimore, Anne Hutchinson, George Washington and others of our Founders all advocated for acceptance - for Protestants of all stripes, for Catholics, for Quakers and for Jews.
Yes, there were Jewish quotas at the Ivy League colleges and medical schools, prejudice in the advertising game and yet we made our way, enough so that Mark Twain wrote his beautiful piece about the outsize contributions of the Jews to the world.
So why am I so worried now? We are not immune here from the ugliness in Europe, the hate that comes in black, nasty waves from the Islamic countries and especially from the new so called "Caliphate" and the terrorist organizations of that same world. But never did I think that it would be allowed to flourish so openly here and at such high levels. I only wish I had known some of these particulars yesterday for I would have raised them at the Democratic Club.
I have already posted about the mainstream Macy's succumbing to BDS pressure and cancelling the Israeli company Sodastream from their stores and now it and its sister store, Bloomingdales, are making a huge deal about opening huge stores in Abu Dhabi. One does not have to be a genius to recognize the connecting thread here. We need to apply a BDS of our own to these stores and so I asked people to disconnect themselves and their wallets from Macy's. Many people around the country have done so already.
Now we have another issue. In the world of politics there are harsh moments, yet always there is the element of diplomacy. Here in the USA we have welcomed acknowledged and formally unacknowledged enemies of our states with a certain decorum, certainly from the government and its spokespeople. We have chatted politely with terrorists who are now in governments. We have fought for people, shedding blood, for people who still stone women, who still back "honor" killings, who kill homosexuals, for governments who funded terrorism and who are now reaping the backlash of that when those same terrorist organizations attack their very foundation. And yet, we speak politely with them, do not chastise them publically, for we practice diplomacy, and yes, some cowardice.
And yet - AND YET - "Jeffrey Goldberg, diplomatic correspondent for The Atlantic, reported Tuesday that he recently spoke to a senior Obama administration official about, "the foreign leader who seems to frustrate the White House and the State Department the most." The unnamed official reportedly told Goldberg: “The thing about Bibi is, he’s a chickenshit.”
This, from a major ally about the leader of our own only true ally in the Middle East, the only one that has stood by us, transferred intelligence it gathered in various wars or thru humint, this for a country that is fighting for its very survival and has done so since inception? THIS? This stems from the top. Obama has been questionable from the beginning, coming from the church of a vehemently and vicious anti - semitic preacher, who has never truly stood up for Israel and in fact, has made very dangerous and intrusive statements about it, setting off tidal waves which are still delivering harmful effects to the country and the peace process and now it allows this language, this attitude, to join the other nasty stuff it has already made in public statements. And why? Is it because it is okay to criticize a Jewish leader in such undiplomatic manner but not others?
And now for the Ketchup Issue, Ketchupgate, if you will.
The eatery, called Conflict Kitchen, received a $50,000 grant from the Heinz Endowment in April to help pay for its moving costs. It is now situated near the Carnegie Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh campuses.
The restaurant, which serves popular Middle Eastern food such as hummus and baba ghannoush, states that it only uses products from countries at war with the U.S., such as Afghanistan, North Korea, Cuba, Iran and Venezuela. “Our current focus is on Palestinian food, culture and politics,” the Conflict Kitchen website states
In fact, the website, decorated with a logo in Arabic letters, is filled with sophisticated anti-Israel propaganda."A spokesman for Heinz Endowment confirmed to the Free Beacon that the foundation has been funding Conflict Kitchen, adding:, “The opinions of Conflict Kitchen do not represent those of the Heinz Endowment.” He declined to say whether they would continue to support the group in the future...
John Kerry has always been tentative in our minds as a true impartial negotiator for the peace process and has made several awful statements over the years and now we see this. He has made statements that Israel is responsible for the rise of ISIS and other statements along that outrageous line. He needs to resign and his wife needs to disavow funding publically self stated enemy of our country and friend of our enemies

PERSPECTIVE
Yesterday was a day of contrasts. It was a beautiful day, sun shining, the air soft and welcoming, a day for enjoyment. A bunch of us met by happenstance on the catwalk and stood there laughing and talking. In another moment during the day I heard bad news about a lovely person. We went to the library and the movies, took a walk and just enjoyed a good day here in the Village.
This is what life here is all about, or at least what it should be about. There should be no ugly worries that we will run out of money, that there are greedy souls
here who have nefarious ideas. It should be a place where competent, honest, and caring people should be in the administration, either volunteer or professional. It should be a place where our funds are not looked upon as a place of mad money for crazy projects and backward ideas.
Yesterday's cartoon posted on Gary's blog says it all. This must be the same gifted cartoonist who posted the earlier cartoons much earlier in time on this blog and he/she has a discerning eye and mind. David Israel and Co., believe they have a right to complete and wasteful usage of our funds, so confident that they can carry around a crowbar and a set of keys that will open all funds in the reserves to them and their ridiculously dangerous plans.
I read yesterday that the perimeter cameras are going up. There is vehement opposition to this for reasons of privacy, concern over exactly who will be monitoring these cameras and what use will they have for them, and just exactly how does a camera on West Drive stop someone from breaking into a unit or molesting someone in the back of one of the associations. Answer is - it does not. There is no good reason for these cameras and for us to incur another expense. For whose benefit. I believe that answer is self explanatory. Why did the delegates not get to vote on this, to debate it? Why? Because we have a tinpot despot here in the Village and we allow him and cohorts to rule.
Yesterday a friend sent me wonderful articles re "energy trees", for power, for solar energy and think how much better we would be if we had something like this here in the Village. For sure we get enough sun! Would it be costly. Sure, but how much? Who knows and we will never know if this is a good ongoing project for us to engage in, to even look into because we have a benighted group of people here who have their heads up another portion of their anatomy and their brains can only think Wi Fi, Wi Fi, Wi Fi..... We need to have a new, forward looking group of people brought into UCO, we need to open the windows, open the books, open our minds, to new times and new ideas. We need to look to the future, not to ideas that are already passé and not worthy of support and expense.
If this is an impossible way to go with this administration then we need to move on, to throw out, to get rid of. Perhaps we even need to look more seriously into professional management and all it would entail. Perhaps the money it would cost us could be saved through other cost cutting gestures and moves, getting rid of waste in our spending now and believe me there is plenty of that. The point is, at present we have an incompetent, greedy, selfish, backward looking UCO administration, a non transparent group that holds onto its power with greedy hearts and arms. They have no management skills and no process nor procedure other than one in which they get to stay in power and waste and ruin us.
People, once again, we all need to stand up and do something, act, run for office, speak up and out, protest, defy, OPT OUT, whatever it takes. Recall, force a resignation, whatever it takes - before it is too late.

Stephen Flatow: The Amazing Story of What One Person Can Accomplish Rabbi Brenner Glickman Rosh Hashanah 5775/2014
THIS WAS SENT TO ME BY A FTRIEND.Tonight, I will tell you a story. It is the true story of a seemingly inconsequential man who, driven by passion and determination, has accomplished the extraordinary. It is a David and Goliath story of our times, and it continues to unfold. When you hear this story, I think you will agree that someone needs to write a book about this man. I can’t believe that no one has yet.
Our hero’s name is Stephen Flatow. He is a real-estate attorney in northern New Jersey. He does title work, mostly, out of a small, cluttered office. He is well-regarded in his field, but not especially well known. He makes a living.
He is famous, however, in other circles, as an activist. His courage and determination are unmatched. This lone man has stood up to the greatest powers and has not blinked. He has challenged the State Department, the Justice Department, the courts, and the largest banks in the world. He has failed and prevailed, stumbled and triumphed, over and over again. He does not quit.
He is driven by the love of his daughter, a daughter who was killed by a suicide bomber twenty years ago. This is his story.
Alisa Flatow was a student at Brandeis University. She chose to spend a semester studying abroad in Jerusalem. After a few months in Israel, she and her roommates decided to spend a weekend at a beach resort in Gaza. This was 1995, soon after the Oslo accords, and Gaza was still under Israeli control. It seems unfathomable now, but people used to vacation in Gaza at the beach resorts.
On the way to the beach, their bus was struck by a van filled with explosives. The terrorist group Palestinian Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the killing. Seven Israeli soldiers riding on the bus were killed. Alisa was severely wounded, but she did not die right away. The terrorist van was filled with shrapnel that exploded through the windows of the bus and struck her head. She was unconscious, but her body was unharmed.
The doctors called her father in America, and told him to come right away. When he landed in Ben Gurion airport, government agents met him on the runway,and escorted him straight from the plane to the hospital. By the time he arrived, Alisa was brain-dead. The doctors offered their condolences, and asked the father if he would be willing to donate her organs.

There is much in Jewish law and custom that would discourage organ donation. It has been our longstanding tradition to treat a dead body as sacred. Our custom is to watch over it, cleanse it, and prepare it carefully for burial. The body is buried whole and unaltered. That is why rabbinic authorities have generally discouraged autopsies.
But organ donation is special. It presents the opportunity to save a life. In Jewish law, the saving of a human life takes special precedence. You can violate just about all the other commandments if you can save a life. Therefore, Jewish law does not just allow organ donation, it requires it. The people of Israel were amazed, and grateful. They had felt so alone in suffering against terrorism, and here this family from America made such a gesture. They felt that the world Jewish community was with them. We were one.
Days later, Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin came to Washington DC and spoke before a gathering of 12,000 American Jews. What he told them would be printed in newspapers throughout America. He spoke about what Alisa’s gift meant to the Israeli people. “Today,” he said, “her heart beats in Jerusalem.”
There is more. After Alisa’s death, the Flatows lives were shattered. Alisa’s mother withdrew into herself and her home. But the father, Stephen, decided to take action. He wanted justice. It was widely reported that the State of Iran was the sponsor and financial backer of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. It angered him that there were no consequences for Iran. They had funded his daughter’s murderers, and no one was doing anything about it. The bomber himself was killed. The terrorist ring was being pursued by Israel. Stephen Flatow decided to take it upon himself to go after Iran.
A lawyer by training, he sought justice through the courts. He had a brilliant idea. If he and other victims of terror could file suit against Iran, they could exact punishment on the regime. They would make it costly for states to sponsor terror, and then maybe Iran would think twice about doing it again.

Once more, Flatow returned to Congress and this time he got a third law that gave citizens even more strength to sue foreign governments, this time with teeth.
Finally, in 1997, he received his judgment. A court ruled in favor of the Flatows and against Iran. The family was awarded $26 million in compensatory damages, and over $200 million in punitive damages.
But the issue was hardly over. How do you collect money from a rogue state? They weren’t paying. Stephen Flatow devised a plan. Since the United States had ended diplomatic ties with Iran following the rise of the Ayatollah, the Iranian embassy in Washington and the residence of the Iranian ambassador have been in control of the United States Government. The State Department holds them in trust with the goal of returning them to Iran someday when relations resume. Stephen Flatow now had a ruling that said the Iranian government owed him $247 million. He sought possession of the embassy and the residence, property owned by Iran. The State Department refused. They feared that if the United States confiscated sovereign property here, our embassies and properties abroad would become threatened. So instead, they paid Flatow $20 million from US funds with the understanding that the United States would collect that money from Iran someday.
Stephen Flatow was furious. His goal was not to get money. His goal was to make Iran pay so they would stop sponsoring terror. He had won in court and he had received money, but Iran had still not paid one cent.

And this leads to the third chapter of this amazing saga. Stephen Flatow did not give up. He began to look for other assets in the United States that were owned by the government of Iran. Officially, there were none. United States sanctions prohibited Iran from doing any business in the United States, or for anyone to do business with Iran in the United States. But Flatow had suspicions that a charitable foundation in New York was actually a front, laundering money for the Iranian regime.
Why would the Iranians funnel their money through New York? Because the financial exchanges are there, and you can’t get anything done internationally without going through New York’s markets. Iran’s economy, its nuclear weapons development, its sponsorship of Hezbollah and other jihadists groups – all required moving money across currencies. They needed a secret foothold in New York.
The Alavi Foundation was established decades ago by the Shah to promote Iranian culture abroad. It owned a gleaming skyscraper on 5th Avenue in Manhattan, between Rockefeller Center and the Museum of Modern Art. Ivan Boesky used to office there. Stephen Flatow did a lot of digging, and then filed papers in court demonstrating that the foundation and the building were secretly operated by the Iranian government. And if they belonged to the state of Iran, they were subject to his financial ruling.
Stephen Flatow’s case was a civil matter, but it came to the attention of a young analyst sitting in a cubicle at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. If what Flatow was saying was true, there was some serious criminal wrongdoing going on. That young analyst’s name was Eitan Arusy. Before he starting working for the District Attorney, he served in the Israel Defense Force as a spokesman. He was one of the first responders to the scene of the carnage on the day that Alisa Flatow’s bus was bombed. He had a special interest in the case.
The district attorney’s office did their own digging, and came to the same conclusion as Flatow – the Alavi Foundation was actually a front for Bank Melli, the State of Iran’s government-owned national bank. But how did the Iranians do it? How did they get their money in and out of the United States? The district attorney’s office soon discovered that two European Banks, Credit Suisse and Lloyds of London, were moving money and falsifying documents for the Iranians.

When the FBI raided the records of the charity, they found vast deposits from Credit Suisse and Lloyds. The banks cooperated with investigators. They provided emails and memos detailing how they took Iranian money and sent it to the United States in their own names. Without admitting guilt, Lloyds agreed to pay a fine of $350 million, and Credit Suisse $536 million.
They were not alone. It was soon discovered that most of the major European banks were laundering money for the Iranians into the United States, in direct violation of US law. Barclays Bank settled in 2010, paying the United States $298 million. In 2012, ING, Standard Chartered, and HSBC also settled. HSBC agreed to pay $1.9 billion.
Then came the big one. While all these banks were making deals with the US government, two employees of BNP Paribas became whistleblowers. They shared with investigators that their bank had laundered tens of billions of dollars of Iranian money. They had also laundered money for Sudan while its regime was committing genocide.
BNP is the largest bank in France. This summer you may have seen the news. BNP became the first bank to admit guilt in laundering money for the Iranian government. They agreed to pay $8.9 billion in fines to the United States. It was far and away the largest penalty ever paid by a bank in history.
The New York Times headline said it best: “A Grieving Father Pulls a Thread that Unravels BNP’s Illegal Deals.” A dad lost his girl. The hole in his life will never be filled. He thinks about her every day. He never gives up. He is a small-time attorney doing title work in New Jersey. But his tenacity and his grit and his smarts were beyond anyone’s estimation. This one man in New Jersey uncovered an international conspiracy of bank fraud.

He takes every opportunity to speak to Orthodox congregations to encourage organ donation. Though the rate of donation consent in America is strong at 60%, the rate among Flatow’s fellow Orthodox Jews is only 5%. He is on a mission to change that.

BOLD AND OBVIOUS. THEIR AIMS ARE CLEAR
Just finished skimming over the new Reporter and will read more in depth, but two items caught my eye and they are not good things either. Here is a quote from the Treasurer's report.
" The Budget was prepared with an expectation of transferring approximately $377,000 of collected WI Fi funds to the Infrastructure Reserve. This will not be accomplished. The shortfall of the reserve will only increase by this amount. The current measured shortfall in the reserve is $612,000. The reserve will be reassessed during 2015 and it will likely increase.The Budget was prepared without consideration of collecting any Wi Fi ($2 per unit per month) during the 2015-2016 Budget Year beginning in April 2015."
This is only a small excerpt from this article, but quite unnerving. Here we are told that the transfer of the money from the Wi Fi account will NOT take place. David Israel has reneged once again on his own public statement that the money should be transferred. It was stated by him at a large and combined meeting of the Finance and Officers meeting. At that time the deficit was expressed as $1.3 million plus and not quite sure how it was lowered to the figure given in this quote, unless the Wi Fi money was included. In any case, we have the shortfall, it is over one million dollars and will get worse as the days and months progress, we still have a liar for UCO president and we still have no cure for the projects, the harmful and dangerous projects that this man wants to foist upon us.
We still have no answer to his lunatic statements, his paranoid fantasies of men with guns, of his paranoia and hatred of trailer park residents, and the list goes on and on. Over the past few days he has openly lied and defamed many people, including myself, stating, basically, that my blog has been censored and noted as dangerous by official sources. It kind of makes me laugh, as if my tiny little blog had drawn the notice of a governmental office. Perhaps that would be a good thing anyway, as then we could use a governmental office to aid us in fighting to regain our denied amendment and constitutional rights, denied to us right here in the middle of the good old USA. But alas, it was only one of David Israel's paranoid fantasies.
It also shows the depths of his fear, of the urgency he feels to counteract all the truth that is coming out, all the attention that is being paid to his past and present lies, and all the opposition, in word and deed, to his proposed projects such as the Wi Fi and to the inaction of his administration and inattention to other pressing needs of our Village.
The other item that caught my eye is also a telling indicator of the state of mind and actuality of our present administration. Here it is. This is from a short piece about volunteers. It specifically names one person, Ed Black, as one who offers "valuable guidance and advice on homeowner and Association concerns." This man, Ed Black, is not even an elected official to UCO and in the meanwhile is the shadow King of UCO. He runs it all the while "guiding" his puppet, David Israel, on HIS pathways.
Ed Black has been at the heart of every nefarious financial shenanigan in the Village, particularly what went on with the road contract financing, and that is why he is so upset and such an enemy of our past Treasurer who discovered and made known the facts, the true facts, as part of her fiduciary responsibility. Ed Black, non elected, has access to all sorts of private information of our residents and who the hell knows what he does with it. He is the one who answers questions that should go to the area VPs, who runs the IT, the security, etc. How can this be? How can a non elected person gain such power and then use it, shall we say, in a not particularly spotless manner.
But then again, this is how things are run in this UCO and now they are bold enough, obvious enough, brash enough to point it out in public, thus illuminating their contempt for us, the residents of the Village, for our needs, for our finances, for our intelligence. To them we are sheep and we are being led right down the paths they have chosen and they ain't good, folks, they ain't good.

" The Budget was prepared with an expectation of transferring approximately $377,000 of collected WI Fi funds to the Infrastructure Reserve. This will not be accomplished. The shortfall of the reserve will only increase by this amount. The current measured shortfall in the reserve is $612,000. The reserve will be reassessed during 2015 and it will likely increase.The Budget was prepared without consideration of collecting any Wi Fi ($2 per unit per month) during the 2015-2016 Budget Year beginning in April 2015."
This is only a small excerpt from this article, but quite unnerving. Here we are told that the transfer of the money from the Wi Fi account will NOT take place. David Israel has reneged once again on his own public statement that the money should be transferred. It was stated by him at a large and combined meeting of the Finance and Officers meeting. At that time the deficit was expressed as $1.3 million plus and not quite sure how it was lowered to the figure given in this quote, unless the Wi Fi money was included. In any case, we have the shortfall, it is over one million dollars and will get worse as the days and months progress, we still have a liar for UCO president and we still have no cure for the projects, the harmful and dangerous projects that this man wants to foist upon us.
We still have no answer to his lunatic statements, his paranoid fantasies of men with guns, of his paranoia and hatred of trailer park residents, and the list goes on and on. Over the past few days he has openly lied and defamed many people, including myself, stating, basically, that my blog has been censored and noted as dangerous by official sources. It kind of makes me laugh, as if my tiny little blog had drawn the notice of a governmental office. Perhaps that would be a good thing anyway, as then we could use a governmental office to aid us in fighting to regain our denied amendment and constitutional rights, denied to us right here in the middle of the good old USA. But alas, it was only one of David Israel's paranoid fantasies.
It also shows the depths of his fear, of the urgency he feels to counteract all the truth that is coming out, all the attention that is being paid to his past and present lies, and all the opposition, in word and deed, to his proposed projects such as the Wi Fi and to the inaction of his administration and inattention to other pressing needs of our Village.
The other item that caught my eye is also a telling indicator of the state of mind and actuality of our present administration. Here it is. This is from a short piece about volunteers. It specifically names one person, Ed Black, as one who offers "valuable guidance and advice on homeowner and Association concerns." This man, Ed Black, is not even an elected official to UCO and in the meanwhile is the shadow King of UCO. He runs it all the while "guiding" his puppet, David Israel, on HIS pathways.
Ed Black has been at the heart of every nefarious financial shenanigan in the Village, particularly what went on with the road contract financing, and that is why he is so upset and such an enemy of our past Treasurer who discovered and made known the facts, the true facts, as part of her fiduciary responsibility. Ed Black, non elected, has access to all sorts of private information of our residents and who the hell knows what he does with it. He is the one who answers questions that should go to the area VPs, who runs the IT, the security, etc. How can this be? How can a non elected person gain such power and then use it, shall we say, in a not particularly spotless manner.
But then again, this is how things are run in this UCO and now they are bold enough, obvious enough, brash enough to point it out in public, thus illuminating their contempt for us, the residents of the Village, for our needs, for our finances, for our intelligence. To them we are sheep and we are being led right down the paths they have chosen and they ain't good, folks, they ain't good.
