So, Gracie Girl, got one for you. Just where the hell in the Village are you driving or walking. It sure ain't Wellington. It sure ain't Stratford or Plymouth. It sure aint Camden or Golf's Edge or anywhere else that I can recall. Perhaps there is an area in the Village that was actually done right and we can all go and marvel at it and think what could have been, what should have been. And in the meanwhile, come take a walk with me and we can put our fingers, and eventually our hands, down the cracks that are splitting the paving WIDE open. Just sayin'.......
Next we go to "the core of the committee" - and those are not my words, but those of the Poohbah and his Gang of Whatever Number!
So are we now renouncing our fascist role models and turning to the role models of Communist China with their Gangs of small numbers of people, or the privileged Russian princelings of their corrupt and broke regime?
How dare you try to keep this secret and then when we busted that for you, how dare you try to put a positive spin on this! This was another attempt to run UCO in secret, to make agreements to spend our money, the money we do not have, the money we do not want spent on yet another multi million dollar boondoggle that we already voted down. Just who or what is this CSI company that you are willing to cede all legal and financial decisions to them? THEY will take care of the legalities? THEY will take care of raising the money? Really? They will figure out how much more money we are going to have to pay for this crap that you keep trying to foist upon us!!!!!
So the cable contract is up in five years? Who cares right now? You want to stop it in mid stride - and give back the door entry funds that we would still owe - over a million dollars more? Really!!! More money on our backs! And so what about the five years. I got a better one. The Millennium is up in 6 and we HAVE DONE NOTHING NADA RIEN ZIP ZILCH about getting ready for it. That is a whole lot more important than the cable contract and much more complex and affecting our daily and future life here in the Village.
It is time to get your priorities straight, damn it! To make a contract for five years from now or to break one in the middle for cable and internet? Who the hell knows what will be and where the Internet will be in five years or even two years? We are fine now, have Comcast contracts or whatever each Association wants and we do not need to tie ourselves into pretzel knots for this. In five years or two years or whatever, the Internet could be bust wide open what with all the security issues and people will be reluctant to do anything on it or perhaps it will take a giant step with some new technology and as usual, due to dumb steps taken by our administration, we will be left with our thumbs up our rears watching the rest of the world go by.
Forget the "broadband". Forget your secret plans. Forget your ruinous plans for the Village by wasting our money - and what money at that!
Forget your lousy administration up to now and try to get with the program.
WE WANT PROCESS.
WE WANT PROCEDURE.
WE WANT PROPER MANAGEMENT PROTOCOLS.
WE WANT MILLENNIUM PREPERATION - NOW!!!!
WE DO NOT WANT VILLAGE WI FI AND MILLIONS OF DOLLARS SPENT ON IT.
WE DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO ADD TO THAT MONEY LOSS BY PAYING MONEY BACK TO COMCAST, A MILLION PLUS AT THAT! EVEN A PENNY IS TOO MUCH AND NOT NECESSARY.
WE ARE TIRED OF THE SAME OLD GARBAGE COMING OUT OF THE MOUTH OF UCO.
IT IS TIME TO CHANGE.
VOTE FOR THE RIGHT PEOPLE and by the way, Lanny et al all silly people, the fact that there are so many people running for Exec. Bd. and are in opposition to the Poohbah, and Black and the rest of the incompetents says a whole lot. The truth has been outed and the people say ENOUGH!!!!!
