The tragedy in Nepal turned a bit more personal upon hearing that my beautiful young cousin, Shir, is trapped there, marooned in an open area outside of Kathmandu, along with about 15 other young Israelis. they cannot be accessed by road as all is blocked. Luckily they have some food and water which they will ration and a satellite phone with which they were finally able to contact frantic parents back in Israel.
Keep her and the rest of the people there in your hearts and minds, in your prayers and thoughts. We are hoping that Israel comes thru for its citizens, as it usually does and that they will all return home safely. And we wish all of Nepal all the best we can.
