WELL, IF YOU OPEN THE DOOR .....

 .... What did you expect? Did you actually believe that once opened, it can be shut again? That there would be no consequences arising from the action? That once opened it can be shut again, opened again, at will? Or, conversely, shut so tight as to preclude any further breaching? Well, think again, or think for the first time in your life and understand the consequences, long and short term, the effects of which can never be erased. Nope, always here. Always arising from the rank odors of one's tainted plates.

 So, the guy who opened the door to the Capitol for the insurrectionist mob to enter, has now received three years in prison. In my opinion, too little, too late, not enough to fully portray the importance of his action, the lack of forethought - or wrong forethought - and how the bill must always be paid, one way or another. 

The sleazy attorneys who sold their souls for imagined power plays and achievement now face possible disbarment, and well deserved, I must say. The former president, never should have ever been one, even nominated, now faces this:

 "I think that illustration I gave, that example I gave is just one instance, one particular offense that I think the facts support a potential charge against the former president," Schiff added.

He also said the committee is still deciding on any referrals it may make to the Justice Department for potential criminal prosecution."  

Not only that charge, but many more, and all information of the Jan. 6 Committee investigation will be published ahead of the GOP House takeover, in the worst meaning of the word, who will then, in their own words "take revenge". Not govern, not try to reunite as a working House, but as one meant, set up for revenge, for mass stupidity, for harm to the American people. Why not check that statement with Jim Jordan, the one drooling at the thought. So much for quality of the GOP.

Uh-oh, more rot ahead. Lauren Boebert is striving hard to reach yet another bottom and Marjorie Taylor Greene is amassing power, much to the detriment of any person with a modicum of morality and sense. And never forget Gosar, the creep who states that he agrees with the traitor Trump and his statement:  

 “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”    adding this: “Unprecedented fraud requires unprecedented cure.”

The GOP does not fess up that it was not merely the lack of quality of candidates but also the fact that the GOP stood solidly in the muck and mire of falsehood, of treason, of no hope, of no positive values which accounts for their loss. They need to look deep into the mirror and see the truth. We have looked for the reason why we failed, they say, but the truth is there, right there if they look themselves in the eye and own the truth. 

There are so many problems facing our nation so why not do the job you swear to do? Putin is failing, physically, and mentally, with Russia simply awaiting the lighting of the spark, setting the country up for yet another revolution. Hope this one takes! But that spark, already smoking, could set the world on fire as Putin's death throes in overwhelming dementia could roil the waters of the globe so powerfully that it rises to an existential extinction level of threat and possibility, even probability.  

We have Hamas creating their 'new map' of the region with the flag of Hamas and a rifle, off to the right side of the map, as "palestine' is shown in these borders: "From the river (Jordan) to the sea, (Mediterranean) from Rosh Hanikra (the north) to Eilat (the south)'. Peace? Nah, get real. They threaten to overpower, overthrow Israel as a 35th anniversary present to themselves. And the world? Think it will care? Not a bit. Not one iota. They will simply go tsk, tsk, shed a few crocodile tears, bewail the slaughter yet again, and go on with life with barely a ripple of any regret, remorse, rethinking, truth a foreign object to be avoided.

Nor does that antisemitism stop at our borders. In fact, the incidents of antisemitism have grown by leaps and bounds, and there is a lot of yakkety yakking about it, even with Van Jones apologizing to the mass of Jews as a spokesman for a mass of Black people, for the antisemitism among them as personified by Kanye West. He means well, but he can only apologize for himself, and go out and make things better. He cannot apologize for all, nor ask for their forgiveness, as only the one offended can forgive those who targeted and harmed him. Nor can the offended pardon and forgive all, only those who were involved with him. It is a matter of individual responsibility. For further understanding read The Sunflower by Simon Wiesenthal. And as usual, and until all the political hostages and prisoners are released, to home and family, freed, we must think of this woman and her connection and relevance to us. For us.
